Hi all, my venue comes with a dinner package, and I get to pick two appetizers for my cocktail hour. It’s an outdoor, July wedding in the Teton. It’s dressy casual – not a forma affair. There will be an open wine/beer bar (and other drinks).
What all would you like to eat? I can choose two appetizers.
Do you think two appetizer options should be good?

Two appetrizer options would be fine, as long as you don’t have a million people at your wedding. I’d say go with the two options that would satisfy most people – a fish and a meat, or a veggie option if you have a lot of guests who are vegetarian. I picked the pulled pork sliders and the shrimp skewers 🙂

I picked pulled pork because pulled pork is amazing and we’re having them as an appetizer. I also chose cheese tray because who doesn’t like cheese? Definitely have one option that is not meat or fish.

@Roe: LOL, well I’m lactose intolerant – but I don’t mind if I cannot eat every item!
There will be 50-60 guests I think. So relatively small.
Thanks for voting!

I also voted pulled pork and the cheese display. I think you might want to add one more if you can but if not I would pick 2 of the more filling options.

I voted pulled pork and the quesadilla. They are filling and semi neat to eat. I would have picked brushetta, but I had those passed at a wedding I went to and while delicious, they were impossible to eat without fear of little tomatos dropping all over your dress, and forget trying to eat it with a drink in your other hand!

I voted for the Buffalo sliders and Bruschetta. Yum!
