Would you wear the same dress from engagement party to wedding reception?

I think it is fine.  I personally wouldn’t wear it to my wedding reception as I think a bride should stay in her gown all night (it is already absurd enough we pay for this super expensive gown for 1 day, why make it a couple hours).  However, it would be a cute dress for a bachlorette party, rehearsal dinner,  or shower- no one is going to remember it from a year ago.  If you are worried- just accessorize it differently and you will have a whole new look.  Even after the wedding, the dress isn’t super bridal and would make a cute dress to wear to a party (just not someone else’s wedding… haha)

lilytson: I don’t think the dress can be wear again at your bridal shower, bachelorette or your rehearsal dinner but not a second dress for your wedding reception. People won’t remember it just accessorize it differently such as make’up hair and jewelry I think you will be fine. The dress is not bridal enough.

Love the dress

It’s a beautiful dress, and with the price tag attached to it, you can bet your sweet buns I would wear it again–engagement party, bridal shower, bach party, and reception, lol.

That’s a beautiful dress & you could always wear to other wedding events (bachorlette party, bridal shower, etc.) as PP have suggested.  I’m in the camp of wearing your wedding dress all night 😉

You could also dye it after the wedding & have even more opportunities to wear it!!

Sure, why not? You could also consider it for your rehearsal dinner.

I agree with the others.  I don’t think you should wear it to the reception but definitely can rewear it to other events throughout the year.  It is really cute 🙂
