I have been looking for shoes to wear for my wedding and I hate the thought of ivory shoes. I think they look gorgeous, don’t get me wrong. I just…idk, want to be able to wear them again if I am looking at spending roughly $100 on them. Am I wrong to feel that way? Cue this little gem…
My wedding colors are plum, wisteria, and silver. They match my bridesmaids dresses perfectly and are in my wedding colors…would it be wrong to wear these for my wedding? They meet everything on my checklist…low heal, good reviews, bling, can be worn again, and are under budget.
What do you think bees am I crazy to be considering them??

They look perfect! Tons of brides are opting to go this route for their wedding shoes. I love them!

@MrsEmployed: A lot of BEES and brides use colored shoes for their wedding…I don’t see any issue with them – but YOU have to love them! Most times you cant even really see the brides shoes, depending on the style of your dress. And, many brides change into flats or more comfortable sandals/shoes after the ceremony.

@MrsEmployed: Beautiful!!! If you can walk in them easily, think they’ll be comfortable and wont be fighting to keep them on your feet all day (shoes like that slip off my heels and make it impossible to wear for a long period) I would definitely wear those. They’re lovely, and extra awesome if you can wear them again!

I see more issue with ivory shoes than colored shoes.. If you like them, go for it.
My shoes are blue.

They are fine as long as you can comfortably walk in them. Honestly, I think brides stress too much about shoes. I can’t even recall a wedding wear I actually saw the bride’s shoes- they could have been wearing sneakers for all I know! I got champagne dress flats that were really comfortable and on sale. They were on the more plain side, and I often wear dressy shoes like that even just with jeans- it is just my style. I definitely think you should get shoes you would actually wear again.

Those are really pretty. I love colored shoes for a wedding.

I like them and I think they look great. (Though I really like coloured shoes for weddings!)
You could definitely wear them again with a little black dress for a formal event.

Those shoes look great! It’s really common for brides to wear coloured shoes… I wore red to match my BM’s dresses and got a ton of great comments on them!

I think they’re cute. Go for it!

@MrsEmployed: Gorgeous! I have the wedge version of that shoe in ivory but it has a 4″ heel. They’re even sparklier in person. Go for it!

@MrsEmployed: Every bride that had colored shoes in her wedding had some really amazing pictures where the shoes really stood out nicely. I say from the image perspective – go for it.
However, how high are those heels? I ask b/c that type of shoe looks a lot like my Betsy Johnson heels that were 4 inches high heel-wise and hurt midway into the ceremony. I couldn’t even walk in them – they hurt so bad. So make sure you walk around in them a bit if they are high.

they are only 2 1/2 inch heels.
