No way!  I could never do that because I’d have to see how my body looks in it.

I did, I had tried everything else I could think of besides this style because I hadn’t seen it in a store before. I figured if it was the only style left and none of the others worked them this one had to lol. I was very happy with it!

@beachbridebc:  That is a diaster in the making.  You may get lucky and look and feel beautiful, but you may not.  You may put a lot of money into a dress that looks terrible on you, and feel self concious on your wedding day.  No one wants that.  Find a dress that you can try on before you buy.

A friend of mine found a dress online and fell in love. It was new for the Spring 2013 line (so it was released Fall 2012), and she was getting married in March 2013. No stores around here had this dress. So she kept looking and bought another dress. But she was still obsessed. So she ordered the obsession dress, sight unseen. It came in, she tried it on, and it was meh. Not good, not bad, just meh. The dress that she purchased in store, that she was able to see on her body ahead of time… that was her dress and that was the dress she wore for her wedding. The obsession dress is hanging in her closte, tags still on it, and her bank account is $1000+ lighter for no good reason. She’s trying to resell, but no takers so far. So for my frined, it didn’t work out the way she wanted it to. But she still had another dress she looked amazing in, and it worked out in the end.

@beachbridebc:  I did this.  I couldon’t get this one particular dress out of my head.  It was discontinued but I found one on a resale website.  It didn’t work out for me & I’m now trying to sell it but I HAD to rule it out before I could have been satisfied with something else.

I did! I bought it on Tradesy for $50. It just came yesterday but I haven’t opened the box/tried it on yet. I’m hoping it works out but if it doesn’t, it isn’t much of a loss. I don’t think I’d order an expensive dress without trying it on first, though.

I did it! The dress that I fell in love with was only available online so I really had no choice. I mean, there wasn’t a whole lot of risk because if I didn’t like it when I actually got it, I could just return it. As long as you’re able to return the dress if you don’t like it, I’d say go for it!

@beachbridebc:  I did. No store carried the sample, or had the brand in-stock. I wanted to try it so bad, but no one had it.

I tried on dresses at a few different stores and couldn’t find anything I absolutely LOVED and I couldn’t get the other dress out of my head.

So I tried on the same shape of dress, and decided to go for it. The store owner said if I don’t like it when it arrives, she will let me put the money towards another dress.

I’ll have to pay rush shipping then, but I think its best I did this as I’ll never know if it is “the one” or not, and I don’t want that in the back of my head.

So its a waiting game now til March or April 🙂

I sort of did. I couldn’t find anywhere that had a sample of the Maggie Sottero Isadora Marie so I tried on the Isadora Ann (the short version of the Isadora Marie). I tried on the Isadora Marie (my dress) for the first time when it came in after I ordered it (:

Nope. I’d be way too worried that I’d hate it on ME, even if I loved it in photos.

Don’t do it. I ordered a sample dress of a dress I thought I was gonna love. It came in, I tried it on and I didn’t like it at all. then I found a dress I liked online and was thinking about ordering it but then I remembered what happened with the sample dress I had ordered before and decided not to do it. I kept looking and looking and eventually found a dress I could try on and loved.
