@PromiseRooster:  my dress is a warm peachy color and every time I put it on for alterations I feel totally sure that I chose the right dress. I knew I didn’t want something white and super traditional.

I knew I wanted a white dress. Not even off white but WHITE. It was just something I really really wanted. My FSIL (and MOH) had a champagney dress at hers and it was stunning on her because she is so pale that white would have washed her out. I wouldn’t wear color but think you can still have a traditional looking dress in anything from white to champagne to pink or splashes of brighter colors but idk about camo dresses (ala Honey Boo Boos mom) hahahaha

I thought I NEEDED the white dress moment, but honeslty, every white dress was too boring for me.  I felt NOTHING when I was in them.  I will be wearing blush, but its is much more colourful than your average bridal blush.

@PromiseRooster:  Maybe a blush or champagne, but it depends mostly on how amazing the dress is!

@PromiseRooster:  Maybe you can find a dress that combines some white and color? White dress with a rockin sash? Ombre like gwen stefani? (White up top down to pink) I have seen a few ombre dresses floating around online as that coloring seems to really be hot now! At the end of the day though def dont go white just to say you did it. Pick a dress that makes you feel like the most beautiful person in the world! That confidence in the dress and your comfort will be remembered more than the color of the dress!

@PromiseRooster:  thank you! I had a panic moment when I was googling the designer of my dress and MY picture of ME in the dress from the Bee popped up.  So I removed them lol.  I can share a photo of the dress on a mannequin.  The picture has been instagrammed, thus filtered, so the colour is off.  Here it is:

My dress is white, beige, greens, blues and purples to match my bouquet. I can’t wait to see it for the first time!

I wore white, but I really wish I had gone for something different.  Live and learn.

I tried on an ice blue one and that Lazaro sherbet one that is so popular now, they were absolutely stunning dresses, but not THE dress for me.  I would have been fine with the colors though!

I’m wearing a Lazaro dress in a very light yellowish color – you can hardly tell because some layers of the tulle are ivory and some yellowish.  It’s called “buttercup.”
