My FI and I chose 11-12-13 for our destination wedding in Hawaii. My sister is a wedding planner and coordinator out there so it makes it VERY convenient and awesome!
i know it’s a Tuesday but I thought there’d be more 11-12-13 brides out there! It is one of only 2 consecutive dates available for the next 90 years!! 11-12-13 and 12-13-14. Next one will be 01-02-2103!
Since ours is a destination wedding, the weekday thing didn’t bother me. People will need to take vacation to come anyways.
My lucky number is 13 and my FI and I got engaged on 1-12-13 so I just love our wedding date!
Any other 11-12-13 brides or 12-13-14 brides out there?

@Stargaze31: We were definitely considering it but we ended up going with 11/16/13 since 11/16 is already our dating anniversary and we figured more of our guests would come on a Saturday. It’s a really awesome date though 🙂

I soooo wanted to do 11/12/13 and at first my fiancé said we’d have to wait and see if the venue we wanted would have it available (he was also under the impression that it would be a popular choice). But we it came time to think more seriously about a date he worried that doing a weekday would be too difficult for some people. I pressed a bit but he doesn’t have any family in this area so almost all of his guests will be from out of town. Considering that, I can see his concern since they would all have to take more days off work than if we did a weekend wdding. I would have loved to do it on 11/12/13 though.

Our date is kinda neat if you do it d/m/y. We’re 9/11/13! I’ve alwyas thought it made more sense to go from smallest unit to largest anyways!

We are 11-11… I have a thing with numbers & numerology. Very cute date you’ve chosen.
We were 1-14-2014 but then I realized 11-11 and since its just us, a Monday won’t matter. 🙂 So 11-11 it is!

I considered 11/12/13, and also 9/11/13 (written day, month, year as futuremrste mentioned), but ultimately the logistics of getting the most family to come led us to the Sunday before Thanksgiving because it’s close enough that some family will probably combine it with a holiday visit and stay the week, but far enough that those just coming for the wedding can avoid most of the holiday traffic (if we’d done the weekend after, travel would be much worse).

@Stargaze31: we were originally going to get married on 11-12-13. I was set on that date. But when I went to go book everything for our Vegas wedding, there weren’t many hotel rooms left in the hotel where we wanted us, and our guests to stay, which is where the ceremony is taking place. Then I was thinking how Vegas is probably going to be packed with people getting married there that day. So I don’t know, we just ended up changing the date.

If we were doing a destination wedding where we could get married on a random day I totally would have gone with 11-12-13. So fun!

It is not our date, as of now, but I was thinking about the dates this year last night and it danwed on me. Not sure that I want to put it off for another month though. So we will see.

I am an 11-12-13 bride! We picked it because we knew we were getting married in Vegas in November that week, and the hotels we were considering for our ceremony offered special packages with extras for the “specialty date”. It’s a fun wedding date! 🙂

I am a 11-07-13 bride, it is a Thursday, and I also was born on a Thursday 36 years before 🙂 (My birthday is on 10th of November but we will spend it on the airplane back to Hungary)
