I can totally relate! Husband just sounds so strange to me when I say it!
I just had a verizon guy come by to fix our connection, and it was fine saying well my husband may be home tomorrow if you need to come back. But when he said OK let me have your husbands number I had to stop for a second because I was like who? then remembered that the boyfriend turned fiance has now turned husband.

I can't believe how strange I feel.
Not bad strange, just weird, as though I've grown an extra head or turned my skin purple.
I constantly find myself staring at him, thinking that I'm his Mrs. and using the word husband feels like speaking a different language.
Anyone else totally in awe over just how odd this feels?
Is it because we've been together so long that it mainly feels like the same committed relationship, just with a different title and more diamonds?
