Hi fellow Iowa Bees!

I’m an Iowa City/Des Moines bride (live in IC, wedding will be in Des Moines).

Tricia–interested to hear about your vedors.  So far, we’ve got the biggies–dress, ceremony/reception sites, photographer.

So excited we got a board!!

Just wanted to say Congrats to all you Iowa board members!  I graduated from ISU last year and am living in MN now.  Go CYCLONES!  🙂

Also, one of my friends got married at White Oak Vineyard in Elkhart which was  a gorgeous ceremony and reception.

They have a gazebo you can use for the altar and it can actually be moved to any location you choose on their grounds.

Just thought I’d throw that idea out there for anyone interested.

Oh, and if you love ice cream like she does, she had The Marble Slab (like Coldstone) bring a little ice cream station out there and set it up with about 4 different ice cream choices and lots of toppings and such.

Best wishes on everyone’s weddings!!

Hello!

I’m planning a southeast Iowa wedding from Colorado!  I have a couple things I’d love to incorporate like boba tea, that haven’t quite made it to the country, sigh.  Luckily the wedding will be small and we do have food and the site taken care of.  I’ll be watching this board to see what develops!

I’m an Iowa bride planning my wedding from Omaha at Lake Okoboji.  I have most of my vendors picked already, but let me know if anyone has had experience with the Mighty Nish Band (they play in Nebraska and Iowa)
