my wedding is a mere 11 days away (yay!)  and i'm still a little iffy about the way my seamstress bustled the dress.  it's extremely complex and i'm worried that my all lace train will tear when i walk around since the bustle hits the ground a little... especially once i put on flats.

i'm seriously considering a detachable wrist loop that i can use instead (or as another option).  my train is completely lace so it's not too heavy (we altered the satin underneath so it only shows a bit, that will have to be bustled but it's a small bustle).  does anyone have experience with a wrist loop and if so, do you have pics??  i think i might have the seamstress put it on just incase... i really don't want to spend 30-40 minutes trying to have my girls figure out the snaps in the bustle!  haha.

This is sort of what I was thinking...

I personally think wrist trains are a fun idea, but if you're going to be moving around a lot/have a glass of wine as you mingle, it might be cumbersome to "carry" the train around with you.  I would go ahead and put the wrist loops in, but have your bridesmaids initially bustle you, and just use the loops if the bustle's not working out.

...or you could get some comfortable, low-ish wedges for the reception to lift the train off the ground

*BUMP* wanted to know what you ended up deciding on . . our gowns sound very similar with the satin underlay and lace train and I am also considering the wrist loop!  please post pix if you have them  :)
