@ferdie224:  I hate wrist corsages, but I don’t typically wear jewelry.  I think if someone were to wear bracelets regularly, this probably wouldn’t be as annoying.

Pin ons, because I feel that they wouldn’t get in the way of things!

Pin on! Wrist corsages are the worst

I had 9 female family members wear corsages at my wedding – I just asked each one individually which they would prefer. I had 2 grandmothers who wanted pin-on corsages and the other 7 wanted wrist ones.

I voted for pin on b/c I think the wrist ones would bump up against things and wilt before the end of the wedding.  I feel like my mom and grandma will be giving a lot of hugs at the wedding and I can just see the flowers on a wrist corsage falling apart.

@ferdie224:  I voted for wristlet.  If you have a dress with detail at the top you dont want to cover it or put holes in the dress.  Plus the pin-ons would get smushed very quickly with all the hugging.  My florist provided my DH with an extra one for this reason alone!

Great question! As it turns out, both of our mothers want pin-on and our reader wants a wrist corsage. I would definitely ask each person’s preference, since it’s really personal. I would prefer wrist, only because I’d rather not pin anything to a nice dress (particularly if it’s silk or some other delicate material).

We’re doing pin-on corsages, BUT they will be “pinned” on using high power magnets so the dresses won’t get ruined by by pins.

Wrist corsages just remind me of prom. I prefer pins. I let the women in our wedding choose what they wanted and they all went with pins.

We’re doing wrist for the moms and grandmas so we don’t ruin anyone’s dress. We just made sure to use a hardier flower for our moms who will likely be holding our nieces/nephews (their grandkids) during the night. We felt okay giving our grandmas more delicate flowers on their wrists.

Did pin-on for grandmother, wrist for SIL, and posies for other female/non BMs in wedding party.
