Holy, holy Hell Bees! Its officially over, I’ve been jammed in a glass box of verbal suck for about two and a half months now…my burgeoning novel, wasting away on my tablet like so much expired yogurt….I would read, re-read…type something….HATE IT and just close the thing before I could bungle up the wonderful work I had accomplished before that abysmal and hate-filled wall showed up in my mind!
There were days when I resigned myself to being one of THOSE people…you know the ones, that have a half baked story saved somewhere that they’ll never complete, but tell literally every person who casually mentions the like to read all about!!!
I abhor those people, you either write because you have to…or you play at it because you want to be a writer so terribly that you’re willing to lie about it.
So help me god….I am NOT one of those people, although I had my fears this time, I’ve never before been so….stuck.
But its over now! I have to send mega-unicorn laced lovies to my muse! She’s the grease that keeps my creative gears spinning, and to the hive, for giving me things to write about, the talk about and to distract me until my mind got the overhaul it needed.
You are all fabulous and if I find a way, I’ll thank each and every one of you!

@Nona99: So happy for you! I didn’t know about your novel!! I have to hear more about this! Where can I get my hands on it once it’s finished?
If your comments on this board are any indication, then your novel is going to be one juicy/hilarious/witty read. 😉

@Nona99: I am a writer, and I strongly believe that sometimes your brain just needs a break. I mean, you can always sit down and crank SOMETHING out, but sometimes everything that comes out is going to be shite.
So good for you for taking a creative rest, and now kick that novel’s ass!
