@Nrpreiser:  I think it looks right, I’m not a huge fan of curved bands, but I like the style of yours and I think it looks really nice with your ring.

@Nrpreiser:  I think it looks fine.  Or you could get your w-band altered.

@Nrpreiser:  It looks like a match -and without taking away from your engagement ring.

And I think it was terribly sweet of your hubby, what a wonderful surprise for you 🙂

@Nrpreiser: I love the curved band with your ring!  I recently bought a wrap guard for my e-ring which I had originally planned to get a single curved band for.  However, the wrap guard had too much of a dip in it like yours, right around the centre stone.  Luckily, the place offers customization and is changing the dip to fit around my ring better.  I am sure it wouldn’t be expensive if you took it to a jeweller who offers custom work.  Here is a picture of my ring with the wrap guard to show you the dip.. once I receive the ring and bands back I can show you what it looks like more fitted.

I like that band very much.  I’ve seen it here a few times, and something that I really like is that it’s curved, but it looks nice when worn alone too.

The gap looks totally fine, and it’s hard to beat the sentimentality of him going out and buying it on his own as a surprise.  I’d definitely keep it.

@Nrpreiser:  thank you! Ah I see the half and half you are referring to, which might make it difficult to change. My jeweller didn’t express and concern over the setting of the diamonds. I assume it will be a complete overhaul job, considering I am also having them laser cut out scroll work along the side to match my e-ring and also add more miligrain and etching.

Wow, keep that band!!! It looks amazing. It’s one of my favorite models, and I find the curve fits well around your ring. Your husband is so sweet!!

I had a contour band custom-made and I asked for a gap between my two rings. I find gaps keep the setting airy, and adds a vintage element.

I REALLY like it with your ERing! It’s definitely a keeper – just like your thoughtful hubby 🙂
