By any chance do you get migraines along with your period? I will usually get one that corresponds to a certain day while on mine, doctor said it goes with a spike or lull in hormones. The only thing that helps for me is a short nap with frozen peas on the back of my neck.
It looks like it is going to be one of those days for you. Good thing you have your uncle's wedding to distract you! Enjoy your coffee!
Wear a cool sundress or something ultra comfy that makes you feel good. ( I hate the way everything looks during pms/period day lol)
Take a pain killer ( tylenol, ibuprofin, advil, excedrin, any thing generic you can get your hands on)
Drink lots of water or get some gatorade/powerade ( being dehydrated/electrolyte imbalance makes cramping worse)
I just use the Excedrin "migraine" which has caffeiene so It works quick and strong on every part hurting. FYI- The caffeine in Midol and many drugs is what makes it fast to absorb ,not what takes the pain away. Cramps are like crazy muscle contractions in your uterus and lower abdomen. So chances are just drinking coffee won't help. ( but still drink it since its dam good).
Enjoy the wedding! You will be feeling better soon :)
The only solution I can suggest is industrial strength painkillers. Lots of them. Good luck.
Stay very hydrated. Dehydration seems to bring all sorts of headaches and aches in general my way. Heating pad or even some beans or rice wrapped in a towel and microwaved can help cramps too, but I guess you can't do that at the wedding. Good luck!
My migraine strategy is always the same: Diet Coke, double up on ibuprofen, and 2 hours in bed with a sleep mask to block all light. No noise allowed. Sometimes I'm sick in there, which oddly makes me feel better. Good luck! I think staying away from light and noise for a while this morning may help.
ALEVE. The only thing that really helps with cramps for me.
Go. Stay as long as you can. Explain you're not feeling well and leave if you have to.
Whatever you do...............

Do not go Xena Warrior Princess on anybody (except during the bouquet toss).

Today is my uncle's wedding. I took off today and tomorrow just so I could go and have a good time. I was super excited.
This morning I woke up kinda early for a minute to realize I have a migraine. Nothing some good 'ole coffee and medicine can't fix, right?
But then I went to the bathroom and noticed that mother nature decided to make my period (which was running late due to my system being off from bc) come today.
So, now I'm crampy, moody, I have a killer migraine, and my cramps are making me want to curl up in bed and not get out.
I've looked at Midol, the main ingredient is caffeine, so I'm getting some coffee instead of buying Midol for $10. Any other suggestions so my day doesn't go from bad to worse?? Oh and it's supposed to be in the 90s here and it's an outdoor wedding
