Hi ladies – I know there have been a couple posts about the Wtoo Natalia. For those who passed on the Natalia what made you not get the dress? I am from MN but may take a decent little jaunt to WI just to try on the dress. I know this dress is priced well, so does the fabric/lace look or seem like it’s cheap maybe? Don’t get me wrong, it looks beautiful in the pictures and I love the fit, top of it etc. Just hoping I won’t be disappointed when I go try it on.
Also, I’m thinking instead of the ribbon belt/bow of having a belt with crystals/beading like the below instead. Not that exact belt, but something similar. Thoughts on that from anyone that’s either tried on or bought this dress?

I almost bought the Natalia dress. My decision was between that dress and another Watters dress that I ended up with. Overall, I think the Natalia is a gorgeous dress, especially for the price tag. The bridal salons by me that carried it were asking between $800 and $850 for it. However, you can get it from Netbride for around $450 — an EXCELLENT deal. I ordered my other Watters dress from them and saved a ton of money.
A couple of thoughts about the dress: I wouldn’t necessarily say the lace looks “cheap”. It’s definitely not alencon lace or some of the more expensive laces, but what I think makes this dress work without the super expensive lace is that it’s SUPPOSED to have a lighter airy feel to the dress, and the more expensive laces are usually a bit more sturdier and structured. So overall, it works well for the dress.
I was a little put-off by the scalloped lace on the sweetheart neckline. The pictures online look nice, but in real life the lace that went past the edge of the dress on the neckline looked a little weird to me…like the scallops weren’t evenly placed. It could have just been the sample I tried.
Anyway, there certainly isn’t anything specifically wrong with the dress that made me decide to go with a different one. Trust me, it was a very hard decision. I had the Natalia dress stuck in my head for months before I even tried it on and was sure I would end up getting it. Ultimately, I ended up choosing a dress that I felt was a bit more unique and that I felt was perfect for my venue. Good luck!
Oh, and I think a sash like that would look nice on the dress.

I just saw the dress on a google search, because you peaked my curiosity. I think it would look very beautiful with or without a belt, though the lace might actually make the belt a little busy, or the other way around. Just my opinion, but it is indeed lovely.

Thanks for the responses ladies. I actually ended up calling the Macy’s in Mpls. back today to see if they had other Watters styles in stock and mentioned I know they don’t have the Natalia, and she interrupted and said they had it! The girl I talked to yesterday must have mixed it up.
Anywho – So of course I ran to the store after work to try it on and……while it was pretty and I actually really liked the top, it didn’t have as much structure as I would have liked. Pretty dress but not sure it’s the one. I tried on another similar Wtoo and it was very pretty and more structured, it’s at the top of my list as of now.
On a fun note, I got to try on some Vera Wang’s so that was fun:) She def. knows what she’s doing when it comes to fit. There were a couple samples actually for like $400, regularly about 4 grand! Sadly I’m not a big fan of the dark ivory, so had to pass. Thanks again on the replies!
