The votes have been cast, and this month book will be "Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks!
If anyone doesn't want to read this, that is also fine, but for those of you that do- if possible, let's start this week? And have a check-in next Wednesday?
What does everyone think about different people hosting the WBBC every month? That way we're all getting a chance to do this and make a poll. (Just a thought!)

Cool, I'm glad we've decided! Sooo.. how exactly are we going to know how far to read in the book? For example, if 3 of us read 5 chapters and 2 of us only read 3 chapters, and we discuss it next wednesday, how will we know what to talk about and what NOT to talk about so we don't ruin it for the ones who are behind?
Just something to figure out ;)

hm.. depends on how many chapters there are and how long they are. I'm going to go pick up the book today and then i'll put in my .02 :)
I say let's make it 3 chapters by next wednesday. I'll volunteer to host in March!

Three chapters it is then. That sounds totally do-able.
So, if we happen to read more than that, we just have to remember to only discuss those 3 chapters next Wed :)

3 chapters sounds great to me! Its $4.39 on the kindle, i looked it up last night.

Yay! I'm really excited about this. When FI wakes up (he is on midnight shift this month) I am going to ask if he wants to run to Target. It is going to be hard to not read more than three chapters.
@tbk- I know exactly what you mean! Feel free to read ahead, and write down questions and discussion topics!! I have a hard time with stopping :]
Id love to join this month but I already bought 4 other books in the past week and have to read those first. Like many others I also have a hard time stopping once I start a book. I usually finish in 1-2 days!
Just bought it at target :) I'm trying not to let myself start reading it yet b/c I know I'll want to read the whole thing!

Maybe once everyone gets started, we can reevaluate how many chapters we read per week. It seems like a fast read. I just started it and I am already trying to pace myself.

@heathaah- That sounds like a good idea. I was looking through it briefly this morning, and the first 3 chapters goes up to 60 pages, so I have a feeling this book will go fast. It's not very long.

I think re-evaluting how much we are going to read is a good idea. This one seems like it'd be a pretty easy read.
I'll head out tomorrow and see if I can get a copy!
I reserved a copy at the library yesterday morning and it's waiting for me to pick it up! Can't wait :)

I'm with previous posters on this one...I will probably read ahead a bit. But I won't spoil anything - promise! I've already read 2.5 chapters and I have a feeling I won't be able to make myself stop tonight!

Yes, it is a VERY fast read, and you definately don't want to stop once you start. I won't ruin anything for you other ladies though! ;)
