Has anyone used 983wedding for wedding invitations? They carry some great modern Chinese wedding invitations but I’m a little hesistant in ordering from a business I have never heard of. Does anyone have suggestions for vendors that specialize in Chinese wedding invitations that do not come in red?

If you are able to type your wording and paste it in a text box, http://www.monogramwedding.com could be your answer. You are not restricted to certain colors and you are able to customize all the text. Hope this helps!

This probably won’t seem very legit as this is my first time posting on WeddingBee, but I just wanted to give a big “HOORAY” for http://www.983wedding.com. I was also hesitant about ordering from them because I couldn’t find reviews anywhere online to vouch for their workmanship, but I was so in love with their ‘Double Happiness with Smile’ invite that I went for it. It was SUPER easy to work with Joann, who was very responsive and patient as we edited the proofs on multiple occasions. The invitations took about three weeks to print after we approved the final draft, and they took less than a week to arrive in California from Hong Kong. (Note that the delivery time will vary, of course, but this was my experience.) The price was very competitive with quotes that we got from San Francisco Chinatown vendors like Ho Tai and H2, even with the shipping tacked on.
My one recommendation would be to find someone who can proofread the Chinese for you — we found that the Chinese text that Joann drafted for us was worded differently than invitations here in the USA would have been. This is probably a difference in language between old school Chinese American invites and more modern HK invites.
I’d be happy to share photos of our invitations with you. They came out great!
