I’m engaged-to-be engaged. I hope that’s not a naughty word(s) on these forums.
Me and the SO decided together that we wantes to be together forever and marriage is the next step!
Future Mother-In-Law stated later that eloping with no ring and no formal proposal is Unacceptable (lol) and she wants the whole “Experence”
My SO (FI?) bought the ring and I’m just…well..waiting 🙂

Congrats and welcome! My SO has one more payment and we’ll be “officially” engaged. You can wait along with the rest of us 😉

Are you planning on snooping for the ring, or are you waiting for a big surprise? 😛

He’s like a fox-I can never even get a tiny peak 😛
I grabbed his phone and opened the borwser-just to check perezhilton.com i swear! and he dived across the room and grabbed the phone from me and deleted all his history with the bathroom door locked.
real smooth MrFlowerPot, real smooth
He did tell me that he wanted to propose while we were at a PostSecret event a few days ago but that “stuff” wasn’t ready yet. The he looked at m and wondered aload why he had told me that. Silly boy 😛
it’s hard for him not to share everything with me. We always share everything, so this must be super hard

congrats! i’m also engaged-to-be, though a little behind you – don’t have the ring yet since it’s going to be custom made. so excited for you!
can i also just say, very jealous you went to a postsecret event!! i read them religiously every sunday in their blog. i got one of their books for my Boyfriend or Best Friend for a gift once.
aaaand my Boyfriend or Best Friend is the same in regards to proposal plans!! i never snoop in his mail or messages or anything and he knows that, but he didn’t trust me not to snoop looking for hints of proposal plans etc. so he changed his pincode on his phone from what i knew to something different. the frustration!
i hope you don’t have to wait too long, and can’t wait to hear the story once it’s done 🙂

Oy, I hope it’s quick! My now husband did the same thing…except I wasn’t supposed to know that he had the ring. It was agony…but only lasted about a week!
