Xyron rocks! What numbers are the models? Which site are you looking on? What are you going to use it for?
Michaels coupons are always worth waiting for, especially since there is one in their ad AT LEAST every other week, and they accept competitors coupons too (only "real" ones, not ones printed from the internet)...oh and they are usually 40%, rarely are they 50%. There was one in last Sunday's paper. Sign up for their email list and they'll email them to you occasionally as well (and there's nothing from stopping you from printing 7 of them and using one each day, since they're good all week).
Kate, I found mine in various bridal magazines. They are totally worth waiting for, especially if you're making a large purchase or stocking up on wedding craft supplies. I think those coupons have saved me almost $70 so far!
Yay! Good to know!
I was looking on the actual Xyron website. The models are the 9 inch creative station that is listed at $120 and the Xyron 850 for $160. The 9 in. CS has a work space of 9 or 9.5 and the 850 only does 8.5. I don't get why it's more expensive.
I'm planning on using it for labels, stickers and general craftyness. I just got a gocco, so I'm going into crafty girl mode to entertain myself!
Love the Xyron! i have both the 900 and purchased the 500 later as well (just because i wanted it, lol!). Definitely wait for the coupons!! 40% or 50% are both great and will save you big bucks!!!
So the coupons can be used on anything? I hate when they have great coupons and then you can't use them on certain things.
KateMW - you can usually find expired coupons online to see what the limitations are (just google "Michaels coupon" - sites like retailmenot and ultimatecoupons are usually good bets). Good luck!
I just got the 5" (510 I think) and the little mini one that looks like an x, plus refills, at Target on clearance. So if you're at Target, you might want to check their scrapbook aisle to see if you can get one on the cheap.
I just picked up a Xyron 5" Creative Station on Wednesday with the 40% off coupon. I was so happy I dragged the mister with me back today to buy some more cartridges with yup, another 40% off coupon.

This one for August expires today, but they have them all the time. Good luck! :)
I wonder what the difference in cost for the cartridges are between the two... Might be worth the extra $40 in saving you on what the cartridges cost.!
Turns out that my aunt solved my problem. She bought me the 900 for my birthday! She's as excited to play with it as I am! Thanks for your help!

I'm on a birthday shopping spree for myself and next on my list is one of these bad boys! I'm not really familiar with the ins and outs of them though and am wondering which to buy. I am looking at the two largest ones, but the one that "seems" larger is cheaper than the one that "seems" smaller. Am I just looking at them wrong? The most expensive one seems to be about a 1/2 smaller when it comes to actual project area, but I could be looking at it wrong. Anybody have a preference or pro/cons for either model?
Also, why do the Michael's coupons usually come out?? the 50% ones that everybody talks again? Are they worth waiting for?
Thanks!!!
