Congratulations! I love your wedding date 
I don't have too many planning suggestions specifically for yacht weddings, but my uncle had one, and it was really great. I'm sure you can get some great pictures with the NYC skyline!

@pren79 - Yup, we got married on a boat (def. not a yacht) but a boat nonetheless. Our guests absolutely loved it! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Also, our photographer Erica Lyn is based out of NY and I think she shot another wedding on a boat prior to ours as well.

What an awesome idea - I would have never thought of a yacht wedding - but it looks amazing.
One quick but important tip - if the yacht doesn't supply them already, provide amenity baskets for the restrooms and include drammomine - possibly both the patches and the pills! The last thing you want is for your guests to get motion sickness!
The yacht is gorgeous - and there are so many ways you could go with making it look special. Do you have colors in mind yet? Any thematic elements you are thinking of? You could go nautical with navy and gold or you could go old hollywood glamourous or you could go with french riviera inspiration, oh, fun fun fun! So many options! :)
Love the Yacht! Your wedding is going to be fabulous! I am currently assisting in planning a yacht wedding in Vegas..but we just begun the planning so no new ideas just yet.

I have been to many parties on Yachts that circle Toronto Island and once on the Seine in Paris and they are so amazing - your guests will have a blast!

Hi! My fiance and I just booked our wedding on a yacht going around the city for 10/10/10!
We're going to do the ceremony and reception on that yacht, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with yacht weddings? This yacht has 3 floors (bottom for reception, grand stair case to middle foor for cocktail hr, top floor outside)... I'd love any ideas for photo ideas, cool things to do to make it special etc... Also, if anyone has any photographers with yacht experience that would be great to! :)
