WOW! Congratulations! Deal of the century! You'll have to post pictures of yourself in it!!!
Keep in mind that this was taken @ the seamstress's shop--i'm holding it under my arms to keep it from falling down!
That link got stuck in our spam filter... just cleared it, so the link to photos should be comment #12 above!
Ah-ha! It's the link in the post! thanks, Mr. Bee!! and thanks, CC!
@ bellenga: The dress shop was in Mobile, AL, but it went out of business. The owner is selling what's left of her inventory out of her home.
It was the link in comment #12! Here it is again for ya:

@catrelle83 Since this is close enough to Atlanta to be worth a day's drive to any Atlanta brides looking for a good deal, would you be willing to (or to let me) repost this on the Atlanta boards? A way to contact the store owner would be amazing, too! I'm sure she's appreciate the exposure to help her get rid of her stock!
Absolutely. I have her contact information, so just tell anyone to send me a message and I'll send over her number. She has a lot of gorgeous gowns, most of them falling in what I would consider the middle price bracket if you were to buy them from a bridal shop and is now selling what she has left out of her home.
Thanks so much!
You don't by chance know if she had any Anjolique gowns, do you? :)
I don't!
I know she had a couple Pronovias, mine's a Casablanca, and she had one absolutely gorgeous dress by...a spanish company. I don't remember the name, but i remember the absolutely beautiful beading.

I had to, had to, had to share with y'all.
A bridal shop in my town went out of business, and the owner was spreading the word via seamstresses and other bridal shops, etc that she still had about 40 gowns in varying sizes, from Pronovios, Melissa Sweet, Casablanca, etc.
So I called her, just to see what she was about. Turns out she closed her doors in '06, and is now, thanks to the current economy, in some pretty substantial financial problems. The woman isn't computer savvy and didn't know anything about craqigslist, ebay, or any of our frequented sites (I mentioned the hive, preowneddresses.com and oncewed.com)
Anyway, I looked through her collection of dresses, and...voila! She had one dress, a dress that I would have glanced over as something that wasn't...enough of something. But once I put it on, it was absolutely the one. It was light, flowy, gorgeous. it WASN'T strapless (a big no-no for me)
The best part....
$95
Total.
In exchange for helping her get her other inventory sold via the web, $95 just paid for my beautimous Casablanca gown. Did I mention that she's also throwing in my veil??
I just couldn't contain myself!! I didn't know stuff like this actually happened!
