Born and raised Yankee-fan (so what if I grew up in Oregon????) However, I just might vomit if I hear any more A-Rod worshipping....Cabrera had 4 RBI's last night, and all they could talk about was A-Rod...UGH! (can you tell I'm not an A-Rod fan, I try to be a team player, but I have a REALLY hard time!!!)
I'm a Yankees fan, and am fired up to see tomorrow's game!! I am kinda bummed though that the Dodgers got knocked out... that would've been an AMAZING World Series!!
Well, don't mean to count chickens before they hatch... I hope the Yankees can close the deal!!
Don't worry! Yankees will win! :) & if they don't, they have the next 2 to win! :) Which they will! :)

Although getting very very very tired of all the Mets and Red Sox now-turned Phillies fans. It's so ridiculous to root for anyone that's not the Yankees.
@hotchild - agreed re: the Mets/Sox turned Phillies fans. Deal with the fact that your teams didn't get it done and don't pretend to care about another team just because you all hate the Yankees.

@kittyachi - I <3 Jorge too! I call him Trunks because of his massive legs from all that squatting! It's cute because now FI calls him that too :)
I was REALLY hoping for the Dodgers to advance partially because everyone I work with is a Phillies fan (ugh!) and also because I just would love to see Torre back in the Bronx again...even if he's wearing another team's uniform.
Let's go Yankees!!!
I would have liked to see Torre back, too, but it would have been weird. And I would have been REALLY pissed if Torre won the World Series in the Bronx as the DODGERS' coach and not the Yanks'.
@Kittyachi: It's so annoying. Plus, if the Mets made it to the playoffs, I would root for them. When it comes down to it, New York fans should root for NY in general :o)

Seems like I am the only one on this thread that is saying GO ANGELS!!! Tuesdays game and calls were absolutely terrible! Not the only reason they lost but just terrible calls when Yankees were obviously out and they were called safe multiple times. I have a rehearsal dinner to go to tonight but hopefully I can sneak some peeks at my phone during the dinner ;) I already told DH to stay home so he can watch the game. Id never hear the end of it otherwise!
@naangel, I agree Tuesdays calls were HORRIBLE... but I think they were evenly distributed. some in favor of your angels (who are going down tonight mwhahahahaha) and some in favor of the yanks.

I love this post. Go Yanks!!! I am a huge yankee fan which is a HUGE problem as the FH is a huge Phillies fan. It is not good!

Haha yeah, well we live about 2 hours apart so I guess for once that is a good thing. Its not that I am so worried about him, but his family... oh man I will hear about it forever!!!!

As a neutral observer, I have to say that was a great game. Angels were kinda cutting it close in the 9th.
BTW, I've been programed to boo the Yanks.
Its ok, Id rather see them play more games. I think its fun to give the Angels false hope and rip it away last minute. mwhahahahahahahaha.
Ok not really, but with the except of one game, this has been a fun battle to watch.
Awesome to hear all the sports fans in the Hive (even if some of you cheer for the Yanks or Dodgers)! (I ditto catlady: deep dislike for the Yanks - and Dodgers - is part of my DNA) But I will reluctantly admit my team just couldn't cut it down the stretch...it's getting to be a Giant fan's mantra: There's always next year!

Last nites game was pretty good though!
I was going crazy last night when Cano got hit by the pitch! I never was more happy for that to happen just because it gave me renewed hope that we could tie it up and go into extra innings. Sigh...I still think Swisher could have leaned into one of those pitches and walked in a man lol.
But seriously...let's hope it's cold on Saturday because we know the Angels don't do so hot when its chilly!

I see a Dodgers/Phillies post, but not a Yankees/Angels post-unless I'm not going far enough back.
I just wanted to cheer for my Yankees! Even though I have to wait until Thursday to cheer for them again. I can't wait for them to win this game & go to the world series!
