- Wedding: October 2014
I’m having a rustic rainbow wedding outside of a cabin surrounded by pine trees. I’m trying to find ways to implement color tastefully so it doesn’t look like a clown puked on my wedding. I really want to have Yay Flags passed out before the ceremony and after we are introduced have everyone wave them for the recessional.
First question: how big should the flag part be that I cut and secure on a dowel rod. I need dimensions. I don’t want them to be overwhelmingly huge and overpower the pictures but I want them to be fun and noticeable.
Second, should they be a burlap type of material with yay painted? The pop of color would be each flag would have different colored paint. OR should I get different colored cardstock and print Yay! In neat font in black?
Third, what shape looks best? Plain rectangle? Triangle?
