You will have a blast! We just had our couple shower last weekend-hosted by four of my girlfriends-husbands encouraged. It was a tailgate theme-UGA spirit abounded and we had light alcohol (beer and wine) and lots of tailgate food-very tasty and the dishes were scraping the bottom! The decor was all UGA and it was an easy going time-inside and outside, on and off the deck with the party spilling into the yard...it was great fun and they guys will TOTALLY enjoy it!
That's awesome! I hope you have so much fun. Will it be a shower that is typical of a bridal shower, or more of an engagment thing? That will be fun to see how the guys react to all the games involved if it is "bridal" like!
Congrats! We had a couples softball-themed shower, and it was one of my favorite pre-wedding events! It was at the local ballpark, and we all played softball and had typical ballpark food. I hope yours is just as fun! :-)

So, friends of ours offered to host a shower for us! I'm so excited. This is the first time anyone except us has offered to do something to plan our wedding. Sometimes I feel like no one cares about our wedding. I think it is really great of this couple to offer. Since FI and I live far apart, this will be a shower for "his side" to attend. Since that's mostly boys, they already decided that it should be co-ed. That means that they are in charge of explaining to the boys how a shower works and why they should come and I don't have to do any of it! Yay!!
