That sounds delicious! Kudos for goat cheese items. I love me some goat cheese!
@Mrs. Meowerson: we just got home from our tasting and I am in pain I ate so much LOL If anyone thinks that tea is a light meal they will be shocked :D
you had me at scones and devonshire cream. i tried this for the first time last year in england. i have been craving it ever since.
the whole menu sounds so delicious; perfect for an afternoon tea. i actually considered having an afternoon tea reception (my fi is from england).
@mypinkshoes: Yeah scones are horribly addictive - my FI had never had until last october and now he makes them from scratch and we keep both Devonshire Cream and Lemon Curd as staples in our fridge LOL He is Filipino so this was a fun new addiction for him
@unixfairy: i would love to find some clotted cream here. i wouldn't even know where to look. i have considered making some. it sounds a bit intimidating though. i do make white chocolate cranberry scones from scratch all of the time.
Ahhh, I can't even tell you how good that sounds and I am SOOOOO hungry at work now. I would eat the heck out of that meal!
FYI, I bookmarked this page so that I could reference it for a luncheon.
It sounds AMAZING!! I hope everyone of your guests enjoy it to the fullest!
Sounds good. There is enough variety that everyone should find at least one thing they like, even if they don't care for every option.
@andilovesjosh: Thank you!!!
I am so excited - we wanted something different and special and well, we love high tea!
Now if I could just convince my female guests to wear hats life would be perfect LOL
