Woo hoo! I’m psyched. Although my FI and mom kind of lament that I’m going the silk route, personally, I’m very excited about it. I think that for the kind of bouquet I want, it’ll cost me $250+ for a fresh bouquet, and then it will die and I’ll literally be throwing away that money. 🙂 Plus I want to keep my bouquet for sentimental reasons! (I know I could have a fresh bouquet preserved or dried, but I’d just rather go silk.)
Anyway, I am going with Angel’s Accents (www.angelsaccents.com). I just had my phone consultation with her and she is SO friendly and cheerful! I have a loooong time to wait before I’ll get my flowers, but I really think she’s going to be able to pull of exactly what I want…a cascade bouquet of all cream/white flowers: peonies, roses, gardenias, lily of the valley, and snapdragons, with pretty trailing greenery. I’m attaching my inspiration pictures. And my daughter’s/jr. bridesmaid bouquet will be coral roses with green orchids.
Yay flowers! 🙂
