so after contemplating my decision of going with the Oleg Cassini with the one shoulder and chapel train I realized it would get ruined walking about Las Vegas strip and decided to go with something shorter and not so hot to wear. Luckily, I had just put that dress on Special Order Reservation with a $225 deposit and a veil which had a $42 deposit for layaway a week ago and they could cancel the layaway and the S.O.R with no cancellation fee. *Yipee!* So they put the $225 + $42 which = $267. My dress was $249 + tax which meant I only had to pay $2.32 or something like that. I also ended up getting this gorgeous hair piece on sale which was originally $99 believe it or not..that went down to $29.99 with an extra 50% off so that cost $16 with tax. Overall, I think I made a great choice by going with this dress. I ordered it in Soft White in a Size 2.. Hopefully it gets here soon so I can post pictures of myself in it and not use DB stock photos.
but anyways, here is the dress:
and here is the flower hair comb:
It’s so simple but still elegant enough for our small intimate wedding in Vegas.
I plan to wear these cute, quirky red heels from Irregular Choice (Style Name: “I’m from Bury”)
I haven’t decided if I want to remove the brooch or leave it just yet.. but I’ll decide that later.
So yes, my experience so far with David’s Bridal has been wonderful. I’d recommend them to any bride on a budget and still wanting too look couture or just plain gorgeous on their wedding day.

I love this dress! It’s actually one I’m planning on trying on when I make my DB outing (hopefully september)! I’m having a very casual backyard ceremony followed by a trip to the local carnival, then a fun party in a fire hall – so I will be very mobile, and I think tea length dresses are so pretty and fun! Definitely a great choice, IMO!!

Love the dress! When I walked down (a little) of the L.V. strip in mine, the bottom got horribly dirty! & watch out if you have a skirt underneath your dress to “poof it out” My legs were so sweaty (gross I know, but I wanted to save other brides from the same torture!) and the tulle from my skirt started to cling to my legs! lol
