look at this calla lily bouquet...so beautiful....

I just got a great idea!! To tie in yellow with the centerpieces and keep down the cost of flower....I was thinking of putting lemons in the vases and have the blue hydrangeas at the top of the vase....something like this

MsHyman I was actually just searching tulips! I do love them...but I have fallen in love with the shape of the calla lily...before we decided to add yellow Ive been wanting to use calla lilies in some way but there were no blue ones and then I thought today about having my girls hold yellow flowers and thought of the calla lily! Thanks for the idea though! I def do love that picture I posted of them...thanks Recession for the comment! Thanks for the picture Wheresmydesert! Great name too!

Meowkers that 2nd one is really neat...i love how the flowers flare out...I know the one flower is a rose but what do you think the other flower is?

D.Marie: my first instict was to say Daffodils but after looking at pictures I dont think that's them. I'm not quiet sure. A florist should be able to tell you. Also, I'm not totally convinced that the other flower is a rose. it looks like a ranuculous to me. But I'm really bad with identifying flowers so don't take my word for it.
Now that I have my yellow flower ideas for the bridesmaid ...what do you think about me having blue hydrangeas? Just blue hydrangeas and the bridesmaids will have their yellow calla lilies? Thanks everyone for their pictures and advice. LilMis I love those first ones ....but I think they only grow in Hawaii...?

I'm pretty sure Meowkers 2nd link is of yellow orchids and ranunculus. Can't remember the name of the more pointed orchids, though...Gorgeous, whatever they are. ^_^
RE: blue hydrangeas and yellow calla lillies: The only thing I would be worried about it how very different those flowers are. I mean, obvs the colors are very different, but hydrangeas make very round fluffy bouquets when used on their own and calla lillies make very linear, modern bouquets. I would recommend a trial on that, even if you just go to Hobby Lobby and hold a bunch of hydrangeas in one hand and a bunch of calla lillies in the other to make sure you're ok with the look.
Some yellow and blue Martha love for you is on the way!!! This is a gorgeous way to incorporate yellow and blue imho!

You could add in some yellow colored pearls too! They used blue in this bouquet.

the one with the silver tussie mussie is plumeria and yes they grow in hawaii. We lived there for 5 years and I had one in my backyard. I took a lei making class to learn to make those. The scent is wonderful.
They all gave you wonderful ideas. I think the yellow calla lilies would be perfect against their dresses. Are you using the cornflower blue from DB's?

Im looking for yellow bouquets for my bridesmaids...I think blue will clash with their blue dresses and want something that will stand out and thought yellow would be the perfect color. Anyone seen great pictures of yellow bouquets...please post!!
