Weddingbee boards

As some of you may know, my journey toward the perfect sunny yellow bridesmaid dress has been a long and frustrating one! Well, just the other day, one of my awesome bridesmaids found this Calvin Klein dress at Nordstrom Rack (for only $45 - BONUS), and I loved it in the picture!! Well, when I got to the store and saw it in person, it's a beautiful color but the fabric threw me off. It's cotton and seems very wrinkle-prone. I love the style, and more than one person that I show the dress to tells me that it's so "me." I think it's because I have similar dresses, but they're made of a silkier, dressier fabric. I plan to add a skinny gray belt right below the ruched bodice, which might dress it up a bit. Bees, what do you think - is it too casual??

Thanks for the superfast replies! The wedding is not a formal event, but also not in a garden or anything. Ceremony will be in a Catholic church and reception in a restaurant. I'm trying to go for a whimsical, romantic, modern feel for the wedding. Hope that gives you all some more context!

@SandyThePoet: OMG that's my runner-up! Well I was thisclose to getting that one or letting them choose a yellow dress they like on that website. Then my bmaid found the dress in my original post. It's cheaper and I've already seen the color in person and liked it, so those are big pluses in my book. I've already gone through 2 dresses that I liked online but looked horrid in person when I get them shipped to me, so the eShakti one would've been a gamble too. I do really like it though, so if I can't find all sizes in the CK one to fit my girls or if it's too casual, I might go back to the one you posted. Love that ruffle - it would go really well with my dress. :)

@kellyj23: One of my bridesmaids found it at Nordstrom Rack. I got 3 out of 4 sizes there, then I found the last one on eBay for even cheaper! The brand is Calvin Klein and the color is Sunray if that helps.
