I HARDLY EVER see yellow gold rings! Mine is white gold as that is MY taste for me. But I would LOVE to see some yellow gold rings, hince I NEVER do other than my mothers wedding set. Post them ladies! :-)
@Magsalot:Your ring is GORGEOUS! I love how the diamond pops, from the yellow gold! (hope its a diamond I called someones stone a diamond when it wasn't) and don't mean to offend if it isn't, I love ALL stones! :-)

The engagement ring is a >100 year old family ring and the wedding band (top) is my pick from a local jewelry store.
My ring is yellow gold with platinum prongs! :) I looove yellow gold!!

I LOVE yellow gold. I went to the diamond district in Manhattan and I could seriously only find like 3 yellow gold engagement rings and they were all set in a ... 1980s kind of way. I was so disappointed. These are beautiful, ladies!

My babies! My mom-in-law gave them to me when we got married and I will be adding a very thin eternity ring when we get married religiously <3
I will post here again once my rings are finished. Per tradition my friend's father is making our rings. Two of my best friends in high school had their rings made by him and now it is my turn :) I am so glad I am not the only yellow gold lover here :) Mine is a beautiful aqua with two side diamonds in yellow gold with a white gold prong. We finalize the design tomorow!
Not the best pic, it's pretty cloudy today. I've had my lovely ring for less than a week, so I haven't had much time for a proper photo shoot. Here's the best I can do now. I LOVE yellow gold.
I've had my ring for a year as of MONDAY *EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D* and I still love it. I'm not the biggest fan of how thick the band is.... but I love the ring with my life just about. TFH did good :)

I thought I wanted white gold, but when we picked out an emerald ring, there was no way we couldn't get the yellow. It totally makes the stone pop.
I'm undecided as to whether I want a yellor or white (or platinum or other silvery metal) wedding band. My fiance has definitely mentioned wanting yellow gold, though, so I'm thinking I might do the same. Ack! Decisions! This thread is very helpful, though. :) Such pretty rings!

@Mrs.Estep: Thank you! The jeweler offered to make it in white gold, and it was tempting because almost all of my jewelry (that I never wear anyway, lol) is silver.
It would definitely look better worn together in gold, and getting to do that is one reason I'm leaning towards gold. But I'm also not sure I want to continue to wear my e-ring every day after we get married. I'm kind of a klutz and want to preserve it and not have to worry about bashing it into things. If I had a silver band, I could switch off which I wear depending which color metal I want.
Argh! Decisions! It's really getting near time to make this one. All of these gorgeous yellow gold rings, though, are definitely pushing me that way!

Damn! I was always so set on White gold but these rings are all soooo pretty! Now it's making me question why I didn't like yellow gold in the first place...

ive noticed that yellow gold seems to be making a comeback in the stores lately
There really isn't much for yellow gold out there, everything seems to be white gold. When people see my ring for the first time, usually they comment on the fact that it's YG not WG. When we were looking around for our wedding bands, we actually had a jeweler (he kept telling us we didnt want this or that but to go with his pick) he actually told us that yellow gold is such a strong heat conductor that if we were to get the YG that the sun would heat it so much it would burn our finger! But my ering is YG & we have no intension of changing it. This guy just didnt want To listen to our requests and wants. Needless to say, he didnt get our business and we ordered YG from another jeweler. Have you ever heard anyone say that before? I love yellow gold! I wear some white gold too but usually only in the summer when I'm tan. But I have always imagined a YG ering. You all have beautiful rings ladies!
