Our kitchen is painted yellow. The photos suck, it looks more like orange or terracotta in the pictures, but it's actually a warm sunny yellow. I like how it matches the light and dark brown color of our IKEA kitchen and the window frame, i think it's very harmonic. Please ignore the mess ;)
Our color is a warm yellow gold. It is called Grand Canyon from Glidden and fell in love with it at a show house at our builder. The lighting is not the best!
Here's ours, although the lighting doesn't really show the color well its much more vibrant/rich. We moved in ontop of this color and it's just a little too bright yellow for me, our hallway color is similar to MissGreen's kitchen and when we have time I would paint the kitchen that color too.
I just painted the kitchen in my condo (which will soon be a rental) yellow, and it came out beautiful!!! The cabinets are a very 90's pinkish oak, but the yellow amazingly makes them look halfway decent. It's such a sunny color! It doesn't show very well in the photo, but it's just a nice buttery yellow.
I'm pretty sure it is Havana Cream by Behr
This is what our kitchen looked like when we first purchased our home. We didn't leave it yellow though. The picture made it look better than it was. It was splotchy and in need of freshness.
thank you ladies so much. It is so nice to see a real person's kitchen rather than perfect designer pics you see on the internet and in magazines. I was beginning to question if it would work. I now am thinking the yellow may be the way to go.
@missgreen. I love that paint color. That is very similar to what I was thinking of. Yellow but closer to gold than pastel.
I have the listing pics from my old house when I had it for sale. I loved my kitchen and dining room, the living room and hallway were also yellow and to me that was a bit too much!
I love our yellow kitchen! It used to be ugly green but we painted it last year. I do have white cabinets, but you can get the idea from the pics. The color doesn't come through well but it is Butterfly Wing from FreshAir at Home Depot.
you ladies are awesome. I am loving the yellow kitchens. Our kitchen is on the back of our townhome and doesn't get as much light as the front of the house. I think the yellow would gorgeous and a great way to brighten up the room.

I know you are looking for real life pictures, but I found this somewhere on the Internet and I love it. I like white/cream cabinets with the yellow- but wood looks nice and warm too. This is my yellow kitchen inspiration- can't you just picture a beautiful dijon le creuset on the stove? :)
The photo is pretty yellowish in quality, but my kitchen is painted yellow. The color is called "Day Lilly" and I believe it was a Benjamin Moore low VOC paint. I love it, since it looks butter yellow in some lights, and green yellow in others.
YAY! Our cabinets are on order and paint purchased. I can't wait for this kitchen remodel to really happen. This is my inspiration picture. I had imagined wood cabinetry, light coutnertops, yellow walls, and stainless modern fixtures. This Behr inspiration pic fit it perfectly.

I think it looks great! I like the combination of dark wood and white, and that shade of yellow matches perfectly, it's light and vibrant but not too bright. Very nice, can't wait to see your photos.

Hi ladies. The hubby and I purchased a foreclosure 2 years ago and are so excited to start our kitchen remodel this summer. Total overhaul from floor to ceiling. I am thinking yellow/gold color paint with a medium warm wood cabinets would look beautiful I just am having trouble finding inspiration online. Anyone have a yellow kitchen they don't mind sharing pics of?
