Oh so you twisted my arm. Manicure.....will be done. HAHAHA!! Didn't take much convincing. I just don't know how far ahead to do it. I don't want it to be super obvious. I thought about getting artificial nails put back on but hate the thought of cutting my real ones. They all look good but ONE stinking nail!!! It's a conspiracy I tell you. I love the look of the french manicure but hate the idea of cutting my real nails off. Luckily the one that broke in not on the important hand. What to do, what to do.
So excited for you girl! Maybe he'll do it before then to throw you off :) But you have a great time getting all pretty and enjoy this time!!! Let us know all the details when it happens.
I'm so excited for you! A little beautification time will be so much fun. I laughed about your nail dilemma....I looked down and mine are the same way right now! Why does there always have to be just one broken nail???
i say do it a few days before as a birthday gift to yourself since you NEVER treat yourself to getting a manicure (this is exactly what i would say to him) i am a huge fan of OPI personally it shines like nothing i have ever seen...

Oh so ready for the weekend. We went out to dinner last night and he did notice that I got my hair highlighted. He knew I was going to. I asked if he liked it and he said yeah, it looks blonde. Boys are so funny when it comes to this stuff. I gave myself a mini manicure at my desk this morning. I bought some stuff that is suppose to make them strong and grow fast. I have 2 stinking nails on my right hand that decided to be stupid and break. At least the left hand looks good. (Knock on wood) Let's hope this stuff works and the left hand stays looking good.
Ugh, broken nails! Can you trim them all down to a near-similar length?

So I gave myself a manicure and I must say, I did a good job. I figure maybe I will treat myself to one after whenever he asks. I am so excited. I wish next week was my birthday but I only have 11 days!!!! WOOHOO!!!! Even if he doesn't do it on my birthday we will still have fun.

LOL. I totally got a manicure the week we were leaving for vacation, when I thought he would propose (which he did! amazing), and then ruined it because carrying suitcases with freshly done nails was a really bad idea.
Anywho, I thought I was being super obvious by getting my nails done, but he later told me he had no idea that's why I got them done. Men don't always understand our beautification reasons!

Nope not engaged, but T minus 14 days till my BDAY!!! WOOHOO!!!! Tomorrow I start the beautification process!! HAHAHA!!! Haircut and highlights and then next week my friend who is an aesthetician is going to give me a microderm abrasion so my face is oh so smooth and kissably soft and picture perfect just in case. Outfit has been purchased. Hey, even if he doesn't do it on my birthday, I still want to look smokin' hot! Not sure about a manicure yet. That may be a bit obvious. He knows about the hair appt because he is giving me money towards it for a bday gift and the microderm he knows about because the card for it is on the fridge. The outfit is hidden though:) I am so excited I could pee my pants!!!
