Ok this is probably a stupid question but stick with me here:

I know they say to work at your own pace and move to the next level when you feel you can BUT... how are you really supposed to do it? I checked the DVD, her site & Amazon's description but they all say that you should, "start with the Level 1 and when you are ready progress to Level 2 and then Level 3."

Nothing lists a suggested a plan though. It's the 30day Shred right? So is it 10days per level and that's the 30 days?

i honestly didn't like the repetition... and started 2 days level 1, break day, 2 days level 2, break day, 2 days level 3, etc... then i started to incorporate JM's 40 min dvd's...

I would think you're right, that it's 10 days on each level. I've been so bad about it though...I did like 4 days of Level I spread out over 2 weeks, and then did Level II once like 2 weeks ago and haven't done anything with it since! Embarassed

I moved on to level 2 when I could do level 1 really well.  Just tried level 2 the other day and I am all kinds of sore.

It is supposed to be 10 days at each level if you can. That is the way I did it but I got REALLY bored around Day 6-7 of each level!

I also didn't like that there wasn't a rest day so I technically did 30 days with a rest day every 7th day!

I did two weeks of level 1, two weeks of level 2, and a week of level 3. And then I got bored, and lazy. Haha!

Jillian used to do a radio show/podcast. A caller asked her about this and if you really should be doing it every day for 30 days. I think Jillian said doing it 30 days in a row is not the best. You definitely need rest days. I'm currently using her workouts as a supplement to running.

As far as progression goes, I moved on to level 2 once I could complete level 1 without stopping/resting. I'm still working on level 2.

Thanks so much for the advice everyone. I'm not ready to move on yet but I was wondering if I should be or at least when I should be. I've been doing it on weeknights when I get home from work and resting on the weekend. I'm def. going to step it up. Thanks!!

@KIKI - I got mine at Best Buy. It was $12 (but free with a gift cert I had).

I have seen many posts about the 30 day shred - Does it actually work? What are the expected results? Any equipment needed?

I need a little motivation for my July wedding!

@Stephanie: There have been a few people posting on here about their results.  Mostly toning.  The only equipment you need are some hand weights.  I haven't done it yet but this is what i have heard from others.
