About three months ago i asked the bee if I should buy a clarisonic, about two months ago I bought a clarisonic mia (in pink;) ) and had been using it since then, however I don’t think I have a good routine yet.
I don’t like my skin, never had, I had a pimple or two everytime, small or big. When I first started using the clarisonic I used it twice a day and I did notice a great change, my face was cleaner and smother. I continued using it the same amount of time but then started noticing my face was very dry and it was a little bit painfull so I switched to only once a day. The thing is that I’m not seeing an improvement, is not that clean any more the pores that were once unclogged are clogged again, my mom says my face is better, but I see pimples in my face and I’m not really super happy with the results.
So I have some questions for you: Do I wait a little more for results or nothing is going to happen? What is your clarisonic routine? How do you use the brush, circular movements or other?
I am very frustrated with this, I spend part of my savings on it:(. If you have any advice please tell me what had work for you.

I’m right there with you! The first month I got excited because the pimples on my cheeks stopped forming. The second month they all started growing near the sides of my face instead (right by my ears)… I am still waiting for something magical to happen.
Is it just us? Has anyone else gotten past this??

I just stopped using it after a while because it wasn’t making a difference.

@Mrs.Oat: Just the same situation, I now have pimples like in my hairline! and hate them. I’m still waiting too, I was believing I was in the “cleaning” stage, when the clarisonic id bringing the dirt to the surface, but a month and a half of it seems too much for me.
@helenberrycrunch: No way:( I defenitely see a difference in the parts I don’t have pimples, my skin is way smoother, but I hate the fact is not working as I hoped to.

@TotallyPinkaholic: Like you, I’m definitely seeing a difference in the areas without pimples. But I don’t know what’s going on with my face. I feel like a teenager, except I didn’t even have to go through this when I actually was a teenager!
What cleanser are you using? I was using Philosophy Purity for a while before I got the Clarisonic, so I just continued using that. I’m afraid to make too many changes. There’s only 3 months before the wedding day!

Use a different cleanser, and get a different brush. They have ones for delicate skin.

I thought the additional pimples near the hairline was just happening to me. I never correlated it to the clarisonic.
I got mine for Christmas, used it for a couple of months, and now I’m jut back to using Proactiv exclusively.
You are not alone!

@Mrs.Oat: I’m using Oil free Acne wash by Neutrogena, I think is too soft but I tried a local brand and it was to rough so I’m back to it.
today i’m just frustated because little clog pores that have been like that forever now look huge, and I don’t now what to do with them, my spot treatments not really seem to work as good as they should. I think i will keep hoping for the clarisonic to work! I’m definitely trying a new cleanser as boycesgirl suggested, and see what happens.
@coffeegal85: I have a question for you, can you use Proactiv and the clarisonic together? I had the idea it would work perfectly, but I don’t know really.
