We always see pictures of us and our BM’s Grooms, and Dads. But what about our Moms? They are just as important and deserve some spotlight! So, show those beautiful ladies off!
Now, my mom hates having her picture taken so getting her in a picture was harder than it seems. But, here are some of the few we did get!
Sadly, this is the most I got of her helping me get ready. Though, I DO love this picture! She even made that veil by hand! I wish you could see the gorgeous detailing she did on the trim. She is so tallented!
And this is my number one favorite picture of the day with her. It was actually taken by my sister. My mom wanted to have a private moment with me right before the ceremony just to tell me how proud she is and how excited she is for me. It was so intensly emotional and meaningful. I can’t even begin to tell you. I don’t remember every word that was said but that moment will stay with me the rest of my life.
Show off you and your mom!

@bluebonnet: I only got one photo too. Was SO sad about this as my mum’s my best friend. Here’s the one photo from my wedding.

@Mrs Hedgehog: Such a great idea for a thread.
Your mums & nans are gorgeous, guys!
Here’s mine. 🙂
And… mid-conversation (this is us, usually, hahaha.)
And helping sew the bustle on to my dress, after it snapped! (thank goodness for mums.)

Dont have one of just me and my mom…when it came to taking pictures I just didn’t feel like doing it! So we dont have that many. But this is my parents walking me down the aisle.

These photos are so beautiful! Making a mental note now to tell our photographer to make sure we get photos with our mums.

We don’t have any pics of her helping me get ready which is kind of a bummer but this is when she saw “the whole package” for the first time. Not like you can see her face though…
My mom was pretty emotional throughout the whole ceremony. I surprised her by walking down the aisle to Canon in D which is one of her favorite songs. When I was little, she’d always say how when I got married, that would be the song I walk to. Before our wedding when she asked me what we were using for the processional, I only told her about the song that the rest of the Bridal Party would be walking to. When Canon in D started, she just about lost it. This is her during the recessional…
One of my favorite pictures of the day…
And mom and I. I don’t particularly love this picture since neither of us really look our best but it’ll have to do…

Here is my Mom and I. She also generally hates having her picture taken, and rarely smiles when she does. I was really happy with how this one came out! I thought she looked beautiful!

This thread made me tear up! Beautiful, beautiful pictures. I will be sure to ask my photog to get some of me and my wonderful mom.
