I really hate the word cougar, though we have an age gap. I'm 38 and he's 27. I wouldn't date him for the first 3 years we knew each other because he was so young. I finally gave in when he was 23 and had been asking me out for 3 years.
Mrs.DG got me beat by just a few years :) I'm 34, FI is 27. We've been together for 5 years. I never thought it would last when we met but here we are...
Well ladies, my mom has you beaten. She's 46 and her hubby is 28! Yes, just a couple of years older than I am...and they are GREAT together! ;)
My grandmother was 31 when she married my 25 year old grandfather and my mother is 62 and my father is 56! My mom says that a younger man is the best thing for a woman.... too bad my man is 9 years older than I am!
my FH is 21 and Im 24.. I will be 25 when we get married and he will still be 21.
It was really wierd when we started actually dating because I had always dated older men. However he is really mature for his age.. and he is my match. :)
Yeah..don't love the word cougar either..and just because I'm older than I am my fiance I don't consider myself one!!...I'm 32..he's 28 : )

I'm 32, he's about to turn 29. Not a big difference, but everyone thinks I'm waaaay younger than him, which is awesome. :)
Cougar makes me think of women in their 50's with young hot men in their 20's!

I'm older, but only by about 1.5 years, I just turned 25, he'll turn 24 in June.

Everyone in his family has an older wife. It's so weird! lol. FBIL's first wife was younger than him, and they are the only ones in the family to divorce! Now he is happily married to an older woman. = )
Yeah, I would say none of you ladies are nearly old enough to be "Cougars"... maybe "Pumas" (haha)

I come from a family of "cougars."
My mother's current husband is 11 years younger than her (he was 21ish and she was 32 when they first met).
My aunt's husband is 10 years younger than her and my other aunt's second husband was about 15 years younger than her.
I'm super boring considering I'm only 2 1/2 years older than my fiancee.
And I agree, the word cougar needs to die a quick death. The quicker the better.
I'm 23 and he is 21. Not a big difference at all. Though it was weird that all his friends were the people I considered my little brother's "little friends." Its changed now.
