Ok bees, we are getting our alcohol list together. We can bring all of our own stuff but want to keep it somewhat simple for our guests. We are planning a few types of liquor, mixers, beer & a few bottles of wine. Nothing crazy. Majority of our guests are beer drinkers, so Im looking for liquor-wise, what would you order if you went to the bar at a wedding? Ive added a poll of some options, but feel free to add on comments! Thanks bees!
ETA:Im also open to having a signature drink to offer as well — Like a Sangria or something like that. Any suggestions?

I splurge and have 1 real Coca-Cola. My mother will have a ginger ale. Back in college, my drink of choice, was vodka; lost a whole semester to it.

I always get either white zin wine, daquiris or amaretto sours. I think daquiris will be my drink of choice at our reception! Vodka’s pretty universal for a younger group, not sure about older.

Gin/sprite or a glass of white wine (like sav blanc).
Colorless drinks! Wouldn’t want to spill on the dance floor!

I like gin&tonic in the summer and rum mixes all year round so I voted for rum. I probably wouldn’t mix it with coke though but that’s just me.

Def vodka tonic (extra lime). But our group of friends is also HUGE on shots, so depending on your friends I’d be sure to have options for that (and the good stuff – no one wants cheap tequila shots, blech). If you’re going to go that route, I’d have (and again, this is based on what our friends would drink): Good tequila, Jager, some sort of liquer like Bailey’s, a spiced rum, a bottle of jack, and a bottle of southern comfort. You’d probably only need one bottle of each though….depending on your guest-count, and whether your friends are the alcoholics I’ve now made ours out to be.

I’d want a glass of prosecco or champagne but I doubt you’d have it. I’d probably go for a long island iced tea.

Some more info is FIs family loves crown & coke so thats where that came from. My side will like the vodka & shots and a lot like beer. I dont personally drink beer at all, so I want a good mixture for everyone. Our guest list is 100-115 people:)

you should go with a signature drink vs. mixed drinks!!

But in an ideal situation, I’d order a strawberry margarita so I voted for Patron/Tequila.

Vodka is generally the most popular liquor, followed by whiskey and then rum. Again, this is “generally” and your mileage may vary. Also, women tend to drink beer and vodka and men tend to drink dark liquors and beer (just generally). My drink of choice currently is vodka and ginger ale, but I used to be a gin and tonic or vodka soda water girl.

Whiskey Sour! My must have wedding drink! I will NEVER touch them regularly, but when it’s an open bar at a wedding, they go down so nice.
