Heh, we just created this tonight - you're the first poster into the shoe board!
I loooovvvvvvveeeeeee Christian Louboutins, however they do not feel the same as I do. They tease me with their good looks then slap me in the face when I think we have a chance at being together. Oh, CL you truly are a red sole devil.
Oh, I loveeeee shoes. Mr. SR doesn't understand why I need 20 pairs of black heels though.
who doesn't need 20 pairs of black heels - there are so many styles. This is definitely something my FI doesn't understand either, no matter how many times I've tried to explain it!
i share your obsession. My FI has a total of like 5 shoes so he doesn't understand that I need 100 pairs. Yes the crock black pumps ARE totally different than the patent leather pumps. These are my dream shoes, (if only they came in blue and I could afford them )

le sigh

Miss Spring Roll - I have 20 pairs of black shoes too! I LOVE SHOES!
MissEsq-
I hate to tell you, they do come in blue.
Below them are mine (in my head, that is).
OMG...love those CL's MissEsq! I would do anything for those shoes man! I'm also so excited we have a shoes board to fuel our obsessions, yay!
Darn you CL for being so lovely and double darn you for coming in blue.....I can only love you from a distance because I'm poor and we can never be.
tbanks- I'm in the same boat. I pretend I am able to have my pick of CL's, but in truth we will never know one another.
Oh no CindyLou, what did you do?! My FI and my bank account are going to be sooo mad at you. :-)
I also have MANY shoes in MANY of the the same color. But they are all different and I show them each the love the so much deserve! My FI doesnt understand but he lets me drool when I see my loves calling my name as I walk past them in the shoe dept.
MissEsq, you are the devil for posting that pic of the CLs. I had NOT happened upon them yet, and now I'm sure they will haunt my dreams.
I bought a pair of Louboutins (as wedding shoes to go with my evening gown) from NAP during one of their great sales - cost me about US$300, which I rationalise as saving almost 50% off the retail price (I live in Asia). And the best thing? I got them as slingbacks so I can wear them out to work etc (I have ugly toenails :( )
I would faint if I could have a pair of Louboutins, esp if they were the ones above in purple. *swoon*
If only I wore a 39.5 instead of 38, I could just borrow a pair from one of my friends, who has a nice collection of shoes (Louboutins are her favorite). And I think I agree with you, dorsay - I would want them in purple. So I'll tell myself they don't make them in purple so I can rest easy at night
aaaw, I saw those Louboutins discounted @ $300, yesterday...but the condition...oh my goddness! Let me just say that the centre of that feather flower is made of styrofoam...so you get the picture...who could do such a thing to those shoes... *shakes head*
Gosh, I just really love shoes and can't help but keep reading the boards. They are just so much more fun to try on because you always know your size so it's so much easier to buy than clothes!
I have decided to do a blue shoe for my something blue. I just started searching today but found this shoe only I am going to try to find or make my own feather for the shoe. ( Im doing a peacock theme) Its just a idea.. (and cheaper)

A-a-a, a sshoe bbboard? *gasp*. Be still my heart. I have to admit, a lot of the jobs I'm taking on myself are so I can convince my fiance that I have saved us so much money, thus rationalizing the price of the Christian Louboutins I so desperately want. Now I know how utterly ridiculous it is, especially with the economy, to think about purchasing shoes that a. won't really be seen, b. will probably come off halfway through the day, and c. cost more than the bridesmaid dresses combined. But looking at the pictures, with their red soles and sweet little details, I just don't care.
Are there any other shoe ho's out there? Post your dream shoes!
