UGH! I would kick her to the curb. I don't have time for lazy people and neither should you!
Sucky. I would try to have someone else go by and get the dress to not cause any issues with the shop. It's hard to keep cool when other people cause you so much unnecessary stress b/c they can't get on top of their stuff.
Yeah, she said she'd see if her husband could take her up. Honestly, if she doesn't get it...not gonna care.
Oh my goodness! That is shocking and unacceptable! If she doesn't want to pick it up, you may be better off!
I guess she must not want to be in the wedding. That really sucks, and being that she is already married, I would've thought she would've been more sensitive to how a bride feels when people don't do what they are supposed to do.
@trugem: haha! That's true for most brides, but she's different, which is surprising. I KNOW if ANY of her BMs did this to her, they'd be to the curb in no time...the first time she had a problem with anything.
Just curious: why is this the last day she can get it? Will they only hold it for so long? (The one time I was a bridesmaid, I got my dress at Marshall Field's; I don't have experience with ordering dresses.) Nonetheless, this is ridiculous! I don't blame you for being fed up!
I was basically to the point that, if you didn't get measured and order your dress byt the very last dat (even though I gave them my own timeframe) you just wouldn't be in the wedding. What else is there to do? I am sorry that this is happening, but it's like she made her own decision.
What happens after two weeks? they use it as a floor sample or to clean their cars or what? It'll be fine, I bet. She should really get her act together though.

So, Alfred Angelo called today to let me know that one of my BMs (FSIL, the preggo one that's been giving me problems), hasn't come in to get the dress & they can't get a hold of her, can't leave any messages because her box is full! And, even better, today's the last day she can get it.
I'm sooooooooo beyond fuming mad! I'm at the point (and have been since January) to just tell her to not bother getting the dress. The worst part, they're (her & FI's brother) acting like it's not a big deal.
