Just a bit of fun! It's hot out when?...
I'm going to say when the water pipes are so hot that even on the cold side, the water is warm!
Um, my car temperature gauge reads 112? That was last week. The AC on high didn't cool my car the entire drive home, and I have a 2 year old car with no mechanical issues.
@miss chocolate - i thought you were going to say that your candy melted!
...when I'd rather stay late in the air-conditioned office than walk home at 5pm.
... when I think I have a bug crawling down my cleavage, but it's actually just sweat!!!
Bank says it's 101 here today. Ugh.
...when I don't want to leave the house for three months straight because my hair is a frizzy mess and my makeup won't stay on my face.
......the asphalt in my drive way gets goey and soft like chocolate chip cookies
when I have to go into the walk-in refrigerator for 10 minutes when I get to work (I work in a lab).

@Melissabegins- that, too!! Bad mistake to leave chocolate in the car!!!
I think I'm going to say- When I take the pup out to go potty and being outside for just 5 minutes puts him on the hardwood floor instantly when we get back inside! Poor guy!

I have another one - I know it's really hot out when my cats won't go lay out in the lanai. normally, they beg and beg to go out there! But when it's hot? They do a quick U-turn and lay NEAR the doors, so they can see out and get the AC too. Spoiled!
When we have three fans on in the bedroom!
When I go to the grocery store to cool off!! Hang out in the frozen food section! jk
@Melissabegins: I love that you call it a lanai. Reminds me so much of the Golden Girls. I wish I had one!
@dana - ha! my childhood best friend said the same thing about the lanai. He also whipped out his best Designing Women impressions b/c I live so close to Georgia :-)
...when everyone else in the country is complaining about how hot it is and I'm sitting at a breezy 72 degrees 
when I lose 5 lbs of water weight just walking to get the mail.
@zippylef: hmmm thinking i should take a long walk outside to loose my last few pounds now LOL
@sparkle - haha! Too bad you can't wear the shoulder pad sequined ensembles to match - too hot out! maybe just slap someone out of anger for good measure?
@ Ms Teddy- I'm a chef and we cool off in the walk-in too. Especially since the kitchen is as hot as outside!
When I feel like I am melting. When the car begins to cool down after I have made it home. When I walk into my grandmother's house and feel cool when the air is on 80. lol When it is too hot to walk outside naked. lol
@cakegal: LOL...the walk in refrigerator is also where we tend to gossip so it turns out to be a hang out spot before and during work.
I know it's hot when I have to auto-start my car 20 minutes before I leave work so I can bear to get into it. That means I have to hit the button twice before I leave or it'll be so ungodly hot my ass will get burnt and I'll sweat profusely the whole 20 minutes home.
And it's been this way in central FL since May, so I have that going for me. Can't wait for November!
@bree72: me too! i use my auto start just as much as during MI winters...
...when i take 20 minutes to straighten my hair, and it's a fro by the time i walk into the office!
...when my dogs are panting profusely and their noses are extra wet even sitting inside our air conditioned home!
...when i finally turn my cubicle heater off, cuz i need the A/C to dry out my sweat from walking in!
...when i have 20 mosquito bites from sitting out our patio for 10 minutes. (WITH tiki torches lit!)
-when I brought 4 large watter bottles, two handheld fans, and a million blotting sheets to our e-pics shoot last night. It was outside. I sweated. Talk about an e-pics FAIL!
I have to admit, I've been laughing out loud at these this morning here at work! Oh man... the heat is INSANE!
I don't think it would be quite so bad if the humidity didn't play a role in it.
Ok, I have another one- ... when you walk outside and your glasses fog up! Seriously, it happened to me this morning!

When I would rather be locked in my window-less, air conditioned office than outside with all of the stinky, sweating people outside of my office!
@Melissa- It's completely annoying!! It's even more annoying that 78 degrees in our house is actually "cool" and comfortable!!
It is sooooo hot here, I don't even attempt to blow dry my hair and flat iron it for work. I just let it dry on it's own and let the curls go wild. Big time saver ~ lol.....

@Maggie Mae- I don't even blow dry my hair... by the time I walk out to the car and get going, it's nearly dry on it's own!!
the local weather guy last night predicted tomorrow (Thursday) to be like a "blow torch". LOL I hate this weather!!!!
When I walk outside with wet hair and by the time I walk 10 feet to the car I look like the 5th member of the 80s hair band Poison.
How about when you get married in a church, and go outside to take pictures afterwards and you can't because the photographers lenses are all fogged up!
Yea that wasn't fun standing around waiting for the lenses to adjust so we could take pictures!

I know it's hot out when my mom pulls out all the stops to try to get me NOT to run my 5k tonight in fear of heat stroke. She even went as far as telling me that "running is bad for you..." ...riiiiiight...
@2Peas Good luck with your 5k tonight! You'll be alright...just reduce your pace. It's crazy hot here in Philly area...hydrate!!!!!!!!!!! And good luck. :)
