Wow!  You are getting close, crebre!  Man, where did the time go?  I remember when you’d just gotten engaged!  Congratulations, you made it this far; I’m sure no matter what happens in those pesky dreams that everything is going to be wonderful and beautiful (you’re a talented, fun woman with a great, creative eye!), and the odds of any wrecks happening on the interstate are crazy low.  Agree that sanity > chairs…you deserve that mani/pedi after all your hard work.

Our wedding is still 6 months out and I have periodic nightmares! It’s usually reminding me about something that I need to do. I once had a dream where our officiant, who is our close friend, wasn’t ordained and we couldn’t get married. That dream told me that we needed to get the ball rolling on that process!

I had a dream once where nothing was ready but it was all of a sudden the wedding day.  I was taken to the church (we aren’t even getting married in a church?) and my dress was there.  So I got dressed and freaked out about not getting my hair and makeup done but was told there was no time.  So I walked out down the aisle and everyone had shown up in cut off denim shorts and stained tank tops.  Luckily my fiance was actually there.  But I stopped halfway down the aisle and started expressing my displeasure with everything.  It was interesting.

I feel like one theme in my dreams (which I guess is common in most dreams but still) is that nobody else is ever freaked out by anything that’s going wrong.  I know my mom would flip and never let me go down the aisle without my hair and makeup the way I wanted it and with everyone dressed like that.  But in the dream she just laces up my dress and tells me it’s time.

I’ve been having nightmares for months lol. My FH doesn’t have any. I had nightmares before we were engaged, when we hit the 6 month mark, and now almost every night. They aren’t that bad most of the time, but for the longest I always had different variartions of the same dream.

I would be sitting in the church (with the guests) watching my wedding take place and then someone tells me it’s time for me to walk down the aisle. Then I’m like why am I sitting in the audience, why are our wedding colors different, who are all these people, and why don’t I have my dress on. lol

My wedding is falling at an awkward time for my attendants so I was not going to bother with a real rehearsal and just go over stuff while doing pre-ceremony photos.  Then I had a dream where I was coming out and my grandparents were bumbling around in the aisle like sumo wrestlers (that’s the only way I can think to describe their movements).  They were repeating, “but where do we go, when do we go.”  So I had to get through them to get down the aisle, and the music was all screwed up with the cues and when to cut off.  And then after all was said and done, our officiant goes, “well you do know I can’t actually marry you.”  I remember feeling so embarassed in my dream for having people come to such a disaster… just to have to do it again the next day!

The next morning I told my FMIL that we were indeed going to do a rehearsal the night before due to my nightmare.
