You were obsessed with Clarissa Explains it All and wanted an alligator in a kiddie pool in your room, and you could quote Salute Your Shorts like a champ.

    You were obsessed with "J.T.T."

    You wore Doc Martens.

You rocked out to The Cranberries and Ace of Base.

You read The Babysitters Club and Goosebumps (yes, I had the entire series and am not ashamed!!!)

You wore jams. Umbros were the thing. You had wings in your hair and the boys wore flops!

EDIT: Since someone else mentioned books! Anything by RL Stine, Christopher Pike, and Sweet Valley were also major books of the time

Siiiigh, I miss the 90s.  Hahaha.  It was so hardcore.  I was an avid reader of Goosebumps/R.L. Stine and The Babysitter Club.  ABC Friday night line up was the shit.  Nickelodeon cartoons were amazingly awesome.  TRL = every teeny boppers dream.

    I'm loving this thread! :)

@Miss Sorbet: Ah, I remember butterfly clips! They were the height of cool when I was about 7.

I'm more of a mid-90s kid but.... Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Pokemon, Digimon, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego... and of course Full House and the Fresh Prince of BelAir! And when Britney Spears was 17 and really new to music, Spice Girls, boy bands... fun times :)

Oh, and the overwhelming desire for Furbies and Tomagotchies! And I was so upset that my mom always said no. She did fall for the Beanie Baby craze though :)

Aww the memories. For me, it was the grunge phase us girls went through. You know the flannel shirts ala Alicia Silverstone in Aerosmiths video and rocking out to Nirvana, Bush etc. Loving Marky Mark as the pyscho BF in Fear.
