…..you try and write a pre-baby “bucket list” and you can’t think of anything to put on it
…. The things that put you off having a kid (no sleep, no money, bye bye social life) don’t phase you and just make you excited about the new experiences.
Spending time with babies, young children and even teenagers just makes you wonder what it’ll be like when your the one with the babies, young children and even teenagers!
The thrill of shopping for a new dress, shoes or even house hold items has faded and you just want to take a stroll around the baby shops with a cute bump and a head full of ideas for the baby’s room.

You’re not TTC yet, but you constantly think of baby names..
You start thinking of things to do in your town with a baby/toddler..
You push your belly out, look in the mirror & hold it like you’re pregnant.. (GUILTY! Lol)

I work in an infant room, and I spend all day huffing the babies. No, seriously. I smell them, and cuddle with them, and my favorite one is always the youngest baby in the room!
FI and I were originally planning for a 5/10/14 wedding, but we really just couldn’t wait that long for a baby… We’re having a wedding 1/2 the size and trying on our wedding night!
I am SO ready!

– everything on your regular bucket list includes your future children
(example: to see my kid’s faces the first time they see the castle in Walt Disney World)

I had my first child at 22 and I was ready.
I always said that I wanted to be a young mum. i was happy to sacrifise my youth. I just wanted to be a mum.
My 2 boys are now 11&13. Best decision for me.

… As soon as FI says yes! His pre-baby bucket list is not complete. Mine will be on our wedding day! 104 days!

…you read reviews of baby stuff on amazon just to get an idea of what’s the best at the moment.
…you see a baby or toddler have a complete meltdown on a plane and all you can think is “poor baby, he’s so tired!”
…you accidentally overbuy presents for your niece/ nephew.
…you stalk benefits and maternity leave policies before even applying for a job.
lol I like this thread

… You’ve been crazily researching Moby wraps and Ergo carriers trying to decided which one you want – and then you tell DH that you are excited and show him the websites and babble about how cool they are and why…
… Again looking at nappies – I know I want to cloth diaper but tossing up between the types – I get anxious that I haven’t made a decision and then realise it doesn’t matter until I’m pregnant (and you know about to pop the baby out) hehe
… DH mentions our future baby and I get all excited
… We have a list of our current favourite baby names.
… All our baby bucket list is complete except one thing – and the tickets for the BBL trip have been brought and paid for – bring on April and TTC
… You brought a baby book (Up The Duff) and have read up to Week 20 already (and I only brought it this afternoon)
… You watch endless episodes of One Born Every Minute and you get all teary when the mums get to hold their babies for the first time. Plus the idea of labour doesn’t scare the bejesus out of you anymore because you realise it means you’ll be a mummy.
Yes I am freaking baby obsessed at the moment hehe

… you refuse to give your 1 year old nephew back to your sister-in-law
.. you’ve got a rocking chair picked out for the nursery (and paint colors)
… you’ve downloaded 100 baby clothes sewing patterns
… you already own What to Expect When you’re Expecting.. (there’s a section for TTC i promise!! it was free at work, but i lied when i took it. said it was for my friend who’s expecting!)
guilty guilty guilty. 🙂

…you know which room in your new house (which you haven’t even closed on yet) will be the nursery, and refer to it as such, even though you’re not even TTC for another couple of months. And then you go out shopping and start buying little items for it here and there.

When you’re repainting your sewing room (which will be a nursery when the time comes) and you pick colors you know would work with both sexes so you don’t have to paint again….and each sentence goes like this “We can put shelves there and that will be great with a baby because we can put a changing table here and I can reach diapers and stuff on the shelf”…that literally came out of my mouth last night!

- Wedding: July 2012 - Catholic Church
…you get jealous every time there’s a pregnancy announcement on facebook.
…you plan your year based on the possibility of pregnancy.
…you don’t buy new clothes in hopes that you will be pregnant soon and can spend the money on maternity clothes instead.
…you wander through the baby section in any store you go to in order to see what you like, the dimensions of things, and price things so you can make a budget for when a baby arrives.

- Wedding: September 2012 - Mother of the Bride's residence
– you’re planning your nursery the way you planned your wedding… and you’re not pregnant. 😉
– you have a baby hat and booties hidden away in your closet
– you banned yourself from buying new clothes because ‘they’re not gonna fit soon anyway!’

You already start thinking how you are going to tell the news to your hubby and family, so you start thinking of cute ways to break the news……
