Congrats! Your wait was a lot less than mine! We sent ours out in July 2009 and I just got mine in the mail today! I was ready to give up! I like how the address is written by someone human but feel sorry for the intern - handwriting addresses to tons of newlyweds.

OMG that is so beyond unbelievably cool!!! I might have to copy you and do that!! I wrote a letter to President Clinton in 4th grade and got a response, I was over the moon!

@ scissors....i didn't sent out all my invites. I made one especially for them because I knew they were gonna need time to respond and I wanted to have in time to display it at the wedding.

Ok so about two months ago..maybe less. I sent President and Mrs. Obama an invite to our wedding....
Today in the mail we got a card from them congratulating us on our wedding. Signed by the both of them and not stamps. The card has an official white house seal and all and came in an official white house envelope. We were so super excited!!
I plan to frame it and have it at the wedding!!!
