I am 21, and I work in childcare, and am hoping to become a elementary school teacher, or at least, I did. Until I started working in the after shcool programs and am having a hard time imagining working with children the rest of my life.

Haha. What do you all do?

I'm 24 and work basically as an admin tech/gofer but my title says accountant.

Trying to find a job in something else but it's so tough.

@MissAsB:  I know what you mean. I'm about two years away from getting my degree, and I'm regretting my decision now when I have experience. But, I guess if I got kindergarten aged children, it would be so much better, than let's say, 5th graders.

I am 24 and I am an elementary teacher.  OP, don't discount being an elementary teacher based on your experiences in childcare!  I have worked in both, and generally found that kids in afterschool programs act way differently there than in school. :)

I'm 24 and I'm a part-time graphic designer (working towards my degree at the same time) I also freelance for audio/visual companies setting up for business meetings, DJs, etc.

Doesn't pay the bills, will land myself in some sort of FT job within the next several months before I get married.

I'm 27 and a Dental Hygienist! I didn't start working at my "career" until I was 26. I was a toy store manager, a currency exchange teller and a costant student until then. I takes a while to figure out what you want to do :)

I'm 24 and a Nurse Diabetes Educator :) I love what I do! I teach newly diagnosed type 1 and type 2 diabeticsas well as patients who have had diabetes for a while. I educate on how to make lifestyle changes and recommend medications to physicians for their patients. I'm a part of a huge diabetes team in the Bronx. I start grad school towards adult nurse practitioner this Fall, but will continue to do what I'm currently doing. Job pays well and I love it! Got accepted into NYU!!!

I'm 24 and a nanny :( Womp womp...  I have a BS in Psych & Teaching Cert K-5, I'd love to be a Kindergarten Teacher, but the schools just aren't hiring right now... So not exactly what I imagined, but tax free cash isn't so bad when you're working 35 hrs a week on a flexible schedule , I suppose :)
