My SO is 3 years younger than I am. I was a bit conscious of the age difference when we first started dating but that stopped a long time ago (we've been together about 5 years now). He's a really great guy and all that matters is that he makes me happy and that he treats me well.
There can be some issues - ie I'm ready for the next step (marriage, kids etc) and he's not quite there yet (but I'm hoping we'll be engaged by the end of the year)
If you like him, you should give it a chance, you never know what can happen :)
I'm 30, he's 26. We are on the same page maturity-wise. We are both goofballs :)
My husband is 2 years younger than me. He calls me his cougar. It's a total non-issue. I was 30 and he was 28 when we met.
Go for it! Younger men are the best. He will keep you feeling young. I'm 31 and DH is 27.
Agree with PP! My SO is 2 years and some younger then I am (I just turned 23 at the end of 2011, he'll be 21 in a few months). It really doesn't bother me anymore, it bugged me a lot when we first met (I was 20, he was 18), but now that we're getting older and have been together 2.5 years, it helps a lot. Quite frankly, he is immature at times, but when it comes to seriousness, he's 100x more mature then my ex (who's 2 years older then me) will ever be.
My FI is 2 years younger! We've been dating for almost 5 years. When we marry I'll be 29 and he'll be 27... I say go for it! It bothered me at first, but he's definitely proven himself to me :) I don't really care what anyone else thinks.

I have a question. Are any of you bees dating a younger guy? For some reason this has always bothered me but now there is a potential guy that is 2 years younger than me and I don't know if I can ever get past that. I'm only 27 but I believe that guys mature much later so I don't know. I guess I want to know if you're dating a younger, mature guy.
