ohhhhhhh..I see now. It looks very similar to the one you posted. The picture wasn't coming up at first.
I LOVE this cake!! :) We're doing the lace thats in the middle on the bottom of our cake, but doing something diff. on the top 2 layers!

I love this cake! I want a simple ribbon detail, and I love how it has the little bead detail in the icing. Simple, clean lines. That is the color I would want, too. I would put flowers or our initial on top instead of a bride and groom, though.
I think I have the same or VERY similar inspiration photo to you! (I don't have a pic of just the cake but here's my inspiration board)

I like this one. It ties well into our theme. I'd make some changes of course. Change the colors to our wedding colors (blue and purple) and remove the beads (we don't want the impression that it's a Marti Gras themed wedding, just Masquerade).

was going to post the pic i gave to my cake lady but i cant find it again to save my life...apparently i didn't save it like i thought i did :( my colors are black and white with red flowers so my cake is going to be white with black accents and some red flowers.
These were 2 of the inspirations I had, but I think we're going with more scrollwork and a piped monogram on one tier.

I love the Rice Krispy cake, but I think it's too casual for my wedding, this is the cake that I lust after and I'm thinking of having an inital topper and will be putting the bling on myself... instad of having the various designs i want chandeliers (of course lol!!) and the others are all cool.... instead of the brooch that is on there, i think i may actually use the snowflake brooch and a sash that I already have....
here is a topper I am working on right now, I don't know which font yet for ours, probably a brock or a commercial...

@lrwedd: The one that looks like it is covered in white petals is GORGEOUS! Now I'm thinking about doing that for my cake. Too many decisions...

artbee -- My FI really wants a croquembouche ever since we saw one on a Food Network cake challenge haha. I might try to surprise him with a mini "groom's croquembouche."
Meowkers -- I love the gold cake on the bottom. The floral and the gold is so pretty.
Also, the more I look at Lee's picture of cutting the cake, the more I want a square one. I like the look of a round cake, but... the slices... they'll be so... awkward. *twitch* Square cake = easy grid! No?
we had Cheesecakes set up on different pedestals and decorated with fresh flowers. Yummy!!

MsMonicka...sooooooooo I am so stealing that cake, because my theme is elgant and classy plus bling...so that cake is perfect. An dthe cake itself is simple like I want too. I saw it and fell head over heels. I had already decided that I am making my own monograms for the topper with bling, of course :)

missdw...that belonged to another bee...who had the trim for sale on the WB classifieds...when I saw it I loved it....its been 7 months sinced I saved it...her name is dogmom.
Missdw...crebre makes monogram toppers, but I am using mine as a DIY project. I just ordered my letters today
