Yay! Planning this wedding got fun again lol!
I went for my hair and makeup trial last night and can’t say enough good things! The girls at the salon were great all around – super friendly, professional and did an amazing job! I was really worried about not liking my hair or looking like a transvestite (hahahaha!!) which is what I usually end up looking like when I do a “smokey eye”, but I have to toot my own horn here…I looked fabulous haha!
Anyway, we took a few pics and there’s this one of my makeup that I just loved. I almost automatically set it as my facebook default but second guessed myself thinking maybe I didn’t want everyone to see my day of look. Thoughts? The girls took my hair out before I left so my FI wouldn’t see it, which I thought was sweet b/c I hadn’t even considered that!
So if you got a great pic of your makeup from your trial, would you post it on facebook? Why or why not? Thanks!

I don’t think a FB profile picture is going to give away the wedding day look.

VeeVee25: Fair enough…I think I’m still just riding the high of how well the appointment went that I want to show it to everyone haha! Although, all my friends keep texting me to “see pics” and I’m sending it to everyone anyway.

You’ll look different on your actual wedding day, if it’s just the makeup, go for it! And don’t caption it as your day of look

When I get my hands on a picture of me where I don’t look like a bucket of smashed crabs, I facebook that shit so fast you’d miss it if you blinked. So if you love the picture, then by all means put it up. Don’t need to put in the caption that it’s from your makeup trial — nobody will know 🙂

I didn’t post photos after my trial because I tried to minimize how much I posted about our wedding on social media… I am friends with a lot of people on Facebook that I didn’t invite to our wedding, and I didn’t want them to feel left out. I also felt like nobody else would be *that* interested in our wedding other than us, so I kept wedding post to a minimum.
Definitely agree with Mrs_Amanda: nobody is going to connect the dots and associate your FB profile pic with your actual wedding-day look.

iarebridezilla: AGHAHAHAHAHA BUCKET OF SMASHED CRABS LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You’re my favorite.
Mrs. Wallaby: Haha…indeed. My best friend (who is IN my bridal party) and his partner loooove to mock any wedding-related posts I have.

BurlapnLace: I probably wouldn’t set it as my fb profle pic. But, I think it’d be ok if you wanted to insta it or fb it. No one is going to really remember, it’ll be a whole package with your dress and hair.
