If money was no object and there were absolutely NO barriers to you receiving ANY ring you like, what would you get (that you would realistically wear)?
This is mine. Maybe I might get to make that pretty diamond my very own pet rock one day.

What a beauty. It’s actually not dissimilar to my ring except mine’s round and I had it custom-made with no gap…but the bezel set, the mulfrain detail, the sude stones are the same. It’s definitely my dream rinBy

Not gonna lie, my dream wedding set is the cliched Tiffany & Co solitaire and eternity band… but in yellow gold! The set would cost about $42k.

Here’s mine..but would prefer a cushion cut centre stone, not a round:

My FI bought me my dream ring :).

I love to oogle ring porn on Wedding Bee and Pinterest, and I have pinned and saved many examples of gorgeous rings that look nothing at all like my own.
But I can honestly say that my dream ring is the one I’m wearing… it is nearly perfect to me. The only way it could be absolutely perfect is if we upgrade my half-eternity e-ring into a full eternity ring.
That, and I might also ask for a halo around my center stone someday.

My dream ring didn’t exist, so FI custom designed it. 🙂
Whenever these “dream ring” threads come up, I’m amazed by the huuuuge rocks everyone posts! But I just never wanted a big diamond – it doesn’t fit my personality and I can’t imagine wearing a great big thing like that. My .52 is just perfect for me!
I suppose if money were no object, we would have gone with a slightly whiter color – this diamond is J, but because of the rose gold it only looks yellowish in yellowish light. I could have gone for an H, or even a G – not all the way up the scale, because when we were looking at diamonds I discovered that that I just adore the warmer stones. But this stone is flawless (I mean literally, that’s its grade) and super ideal cut, which gives the beautiful sparkle I just adore – I wouldn’t change that for a thing!

@gangqinjia: That is beautiful!
I’m also very fortunate to be wearing my dream ring already! But I still do love to look for the fun of it. Haven’t seen one that suits me more yet!

Really hard to choose.
I love this one from Tiffany’s… a small $475,000. Five carat fancy intense yellow. I saw another one on there (white diamond though) for $1.8 million that I also really like 🙂
Hopefully my real engagement ring will be its baby sister 🙂

this WAS my dream ring, I used to think it was PERFECTION. I tried it on at the store once and the stones looked a little silly on my tiny finger, and it was $35,000 dollars!
Anyway, I am not sure anymore what my “dream ring” NOW would be, I think what I currently have would be close with a few minor changes.

@SweetartMD: Im with you on some of these huge stones look just silly. I was very nervous with my stone being a 2.4 carat sapphire it was huge when I saw it but FI just loved it. He wanted big big big! In the end when the ring came he agreed with me anything bigger would look just rediculous on my hand, he’s glad he didnt continue push for the 3+ carat idea.

Beautiful rings girls. It’s scary how much the really large, really fancy rings can cost though. Here’s to everyone getting their dream ring. 🙂

I consider myself extremely lucky that since despite heavy browsing, my dream ring didn’t seem to exist anywhere, my FI went to great lengths to custom design every last detail of it himself

i love all jewellery so this makes it difficult. i think i would like one of these with the centre stone to be about 8 cts.

This would have been mine.
