Oooooooooooo heartbraker!! Such a cute bag!!Not spending $27 in shipping tho :)
I saw lots of cute bags by Kate spade but they were expensive so I bought a cheapie from walmart for $25
Do you think that this bag would work as a diaper bag?

this is mine and I love it! you can totally do a non-diaper bag thing, but I use the anti-microbial pouch and all the pockets so this works well for me. Plus since I am an urban dweller I walk everywhere with the stroller, and you need those handy stroller clips that real diaper bags come with.

my husband got his own simple messenger one because he hated carrying one that felt like a purse and he traveled solo with our son many times.

So I have a JJ Cole... It might not be fashionable but it is AWESOME. I have used it almost every day for the past two years and it still looks brand new. It's also very functional with all the different pockets.
You could always get a really durable bag and then a cheaper, cuter bag for short trips. I always just threw diapers/bottle/etc. in my purse if it was going to be a quick trip.
But I do love that modcloth bag you posted! It looks like the size would be right and it's cute.

We didn't get a diaper bag for our shower, which is totally fine, now I get to pick one out! But it's A LOT harder than I thought it would be.
I had registered for a simple jj cole messenger bag because my husband liked it, but honestly I find most diaper bags ugly/unappealing. So now that I'M the one paying for it, I don't want to spend the $70 on the jj cole bag that I don't even care for.
The other I had registered for was a more fun bag for me from Ika Bags on Etsy. At $59 I loved the price, the style, cuteness, functionality and quality.
BUT then I realized that shipping to the US is $27 freakin dollars! what the heck?! So I vetoed that option.
Now I'm on the hunt...
I think I would like on that has a mesh pocket on the outside for my water bottle, but other than that I don't have specific features I want, except that it's big enough to double as a diaper bag and a purse.
SO what was your favorite bag and why? Post pictures/prices please!!!
