Our chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy).  I made it myself, using the frame from a portable popup gazebo.  It was first used in the ceremony.  Then at our at-home reception, we used it to frame the cake table.

I think mine was the ceremony layout… LOVED IT!

The archway looked great.. the red carpet.. My DIY button balls… and the lanterns in the background lining the park road.

@babybritt143: thanks. I tried to keep everything consistant for the ceremony.. i.e red and white… Our reception I changed the main color for it to be orange.. and that was done with orange uplighting and lanterns.. made picking out things so much easier!

I loved my venue (ceremony and reception at the same venue). They provided excellent service and the most amazing food… I couldn’t have asked for more!

@SapphireSun: Did you make those or did a florist?  I LOVE that idea for centerpieces!

@soon2beeMe: My aunt and I visited a flower wholesaler a few days before and bought up whatever they ad on hand, and she did the arranging with silver tea sets borrowed from our families, so they were all mixed from different people and eras.  My dad hand polished 30 pieces of silver the day of the rehearsal.  Gotta love that guy!

My bouquet was a close second for things I loved the most.  Wrapped in white ribbon with buttons from my mom’s wedding dress.
